Elaia Villas on the Mediterranean – Vacation Rentals in Cyparissos

Elaia is, first and foremost, an olive grove on the outskirts of a small village in the Minervois region. It is a vast estate covering nearly 8,000 square meters, home to typical Mediterranean flora, including trees some of which are over a century old. At the heart of this olive grove stands Cyparissos, a white villa surrounded by cypress trees, designed for a memorable vacation: its unique architecture is understated and Mediterranean in style, bright, and open to nature. You’ll also find on-site a large swimming pool near a restored old stone wall and, above all, a peaceful and idyllic setting that serves as its backdrop. All around, nature is ever-present, offering a view of a hill covered with pine trees.<br><br> Cyparissos is a completely independent villa, set apart from the other rentals on the property (Silvis and Phoebé): it is located at the end of the cypress-lined driveway leading to it and features a private, secluded 1,500 m² garden surrounded by old olive trees. The villa offers 150 m² of outdoor space (patio, ground-floor terrace, balcony, rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the Montagne Noire) and 140 m² of indoor space. For the interior, we chose to open it up to the garden and the hillside through large floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a constant connection with nature that is even reflected in the olive green of the kitchen; the living room and dining area are arranged around a cozy central fireplace for your winter evenings, a very modern leather sofa (the “Curl” model by Roche Bobois), and vintage-style tables made of solid elm. The modernity of the outdoor furniture (aluminum patio sets, Fermob rocking chairs…), Italian tile flooring, and built-in cabinets blends seamlessly with the authenticity and warmth of the chestnut wood used for the interior doors and beds.<br><br> The shared pool area with the other rentals features a 14 m x 5 m heated pool surrounded by beautiful decking; you’ll find lounge chairs for relaxing, outdoor furniture, and a covered dining area with grills.<br><br>Our highlights: <br>- Sunshine!
