«We stayed at 3 properties on this trip and this is the only one I don’t think I could recommend since I didn’t really feel welcomed, condo was missing things it should have had based on the listing, poor maintenance, and water issues. AC was completely turned off and it is a second story condo so the indoor temp when we got there was in the mid-90s and took 24 hours to cool down. When you know someone is coming turn on the AC. «We enjoyed Mary’s place very much. The small gated community allowed us to visit with Dani and Barbara who were also staying in the complex. So wonderful to get advice for excursions from other visitors. Chris who helped us with our arrival was beyond helpful. «Absolutely beautiful and clean condo with amazing ocean views and quick access to the beach (8 minute walk). Great outdoor living space with multiple decks. Only downside was challenges getting the AC too cold/too hot and never just right throughout the night. Communication with owner was great. Very responsive.»

«The property is as listed and was perfect!!! The unit is clean, well maintained/stocked. Being able to pack light with a washer/dryer was a blessing. The pool was vacant for the most part of our stay -making it our own!!! The front desk was very helpful and friendly. «We loved the property. It was quiet and relaxing. The amenities, especially the infinity pool, were better than we could have asked for. The check in and check out instructions were clearly communicated and the property manager responded to any inquiries we had. Being close to Carara national park as well as Jaco made the location ideal. We especially enjoyed all of the wildlife we were able to see from our terrace and from walking around the property. We plan on returning.»

Great hotel for a romantic getaway
"Great experience at Nya! We got upgraded to a room with a terrace and we enjoyed the hotel's excellent restaurant for breakfast and lunch. The pool area is also very nice and relaxing. We also got surprised with treats every day at the room and the staff placed umbrellas at the rooms when it rained. The breakfast is served a la carte and not as a buffet but the dishes are of very high quality and taste. Also comes with fresh juice and really good coffee. AC in the rooms were superb and ensured that we could get away from the heat easily when needed. Also loved that it had so many spots for relaxation in hammocks and the great location close to both the beach and the Montezuma town center. Only negative I would say is that some of the staff (just a few) were not super service minded, and there was at times some noise from other rooms and animals outside. All in all, an excellent hotel I would love to come back to."
