  • Ocean Pines i Oceanside ligger like over bakken fra Tillamook. Dette nyere hjemmet er like lyst, vakkert og innbydende som de kommer. Med tre soverom og to og en halv bad, kan dette feriehuset komfortabelt sove opptil seks gjester. Hovednivået i hjemmet er det store rommet som består av stue, spisestue, pulverrom og et nydelig kjøkken. Dette kjøkkenet leveres komplett med alle nye hvitevarer i rustfritt stål, granitt benkeplater og vakkert flisearbeid. Kjøkkenet er sikker på å bli et av dine favorittområder i dette feriehuset. Den komfortable stue har en stor flatskjerm-TV med satellitt og en DVD-spiller. Det er også et sjarmerende dekk på dette nivået for deg å grille opp noen fine steker eller sjømat mens du nyter severdighetene og lyden av naturen. Øvre nivå av hjemmet er hvor du kan finne master bedroom med en queen size-seng og en walk-in dusj bad. De to gjesteromene har også queen size-senger, mens et av rommene også har en TV med satellitt og en DVD-spiller. Hallen badet har en dusjkabinett. Det andre nivået har også et dekk for deg å gå ut på for å få bedre utsikt over Stillehavet. Dette feriehuset ligger i en skogkledd setting med vakker, men fjern havutsikt. Oceanside er en sjarmerende, rolig liten strandby som ikke mange mennesker vet om, så det er et flott sted å ta en fredelig ferie. En gang på stranden kan du gå nordover til Oceanside, eller sør til Netarts. Du er bare ti minutter fra Tillamook, hvor du kan ta en tur til Tillamook osteproduksjonen og få noen smakfulle prøver av ikke bare ost, men også fudge og iskrem. Nice place at the coast

Next best thing to being on the beach is being only a few minutes away from two great beaches, Oceanside and Netarts. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Work Trip

The home was a good size for our needs and the location worked well. The previous occupants must have cooked something odorous because there was a strong smell of pizza or something similar in the house the entire visit. We opened windows and doors each day to help clear it out but was unable to get it to completely go away.

Oceanside

Oceanside beaches and surrounding areas were absolutely beautiful. The town is tiny so less visitors, which was a big plus for us. My only complaint, which is really nothing that could be done about. Our rental was only 5 blocks from the beach, which for us would have been an enjoyable walk. But there is only one road in to the beaches, and that main road is so narrow and curvey that we would have been totally afraid to walk it ourselves let alone with kids. The house worked great for everything else and was stocked with everything needed. All around it was a great getaway.

Great time

The place was awesome. We just needed a place to sleep and relax as we traveled up and down the Oregon coast. The house was very clean. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was very nice and loved every minute there. The balcony view was great and the temperature was naturally great. All appliances work and extras were given to make the stay more comfortable. There were 4 issues that did bother other while staying here.1. The beds are very uncomfortable. I am not a person with a back problem but the bed (master bedroom) made my back hurt every morning I woke up. My friend said his bothered him too.2. The listing I read mentioned wifi but we found no information in the email or in the house about it. Cell phone reception is spotty so if you plan on doing anything that requires internet, this is not the place for you.3. The garage had tons of trash from the previous vacationers and it made the garage reek. It didn't affect the house but if wanted to wash some clothes, it made it unpleasant.The upstairs hallway bathroom does not close. We invested in a doorstop so we could enjoy privacy.All in all, I loved my stay but I wanted others to be aware of some of the issues. The place is very clean (aside from the garage) and set up nicely to enjoy your stay.Thanks so much.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is nice and in a secluded location but close to the beach. There is not an ocean view. We arrived at 4:10pm and cleaning was not done until almost 6:30pm so we had to wait around the area. They did not pick up the garbage and the smell in the garage was horrendous of rotting food and fish so we could not park in the garage nor did we want to open the door! We didn’t want to out the bags outside in case the animals got into it. We called everyday for pick up and it took three days for someone to come. There is not WiFi but we had spotty cell service. Lots of cob webs in the corners of the rooms.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is ok. Beds are old and there isn't wifi, but the view is nice. The garage fit our car. We found garbage under 2 beds and the garbage cans were full so we had nowhere to put garbage. They changed our reservation check-in time from 4pm to 730 without telling us. The woman responsible for informing us was especially toxic, blaming us for not getting a voicemail (which she didn't leave). After we discussed the issue and I was hanging up, she told me it was all my fault and hung up. The cleaning lady was crying. It was rather bizarre. I wouldn't recommend this company as I heard around town that organisation isn't their strong point.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our weekend was a flop, not all of it by fault of this home exactly. We'd never stayed in Oceanside before. Some things we wish we'd known or paid attention to prior to booking: 1) There's basically no cell service in the area, can't even access google maps, so you better have your agenda pre-plotted. 2) This property does not offer Wi-Fi (we had 4 teens/preteens in tow). 3) This home does not have AC. 4)Beach access difficult parking. While the beach is lovely, the access place for the public is in the tiny town and if you don't get there early morning you will struggle all day long to find a place to park. We got there Friday night and didn't get to walk the beach til 0730 Sunday morning. If there's beach access "5 blocks" away, we could not figure where. That being said, it would have been nice to have a binder or some info provided in the home regarding places to access the beach, places to eat, things to do or see. There was nothing, not even info regarding what day is garbage day-and the garbage can was full when we arrived. We left Sunday night in a mad hurry instead of Monday morning because it was way too hot to sleep in the house that night (we understand that most of the time at the coast AC is not needed). The home itself was nice, we enjoyed the wooded view from the deck.

Cons=internet/wi-fi was HORRIBLE! Would’ve been nice to have some more features as we flew and couldn’t pack beach items, house should’ve included a few beach towels and beach chairs. Also, each bed only had one cover and there were no extra blankets in the house. Other than the lack of “extras”, it was a lovely house! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was the perfect size for my 6 person family to not feel crowded. It was well stocked with your basic needs. The main deck is over looking a quiet wooded area where we saw wildlife daily. Star gazing from the deck at night was amazing. It was only a short drive to a beautiful beach.Things that could be improved; cleanliness. The floors were not properly swept or vacuumed. We found a large shard of glass under the dining table as well as plenty of dirt that could have been easily swept up with a basic cleaning. There was candy and other specks of who knows what on the carpet that could have also easily been cleaned with a basic vacuuming. There was hair on both the night stand & quilt in the primary bedroom as well as "stains" on the linens. Overall, this is a nice house in a lovely location that could be improved immensely with a thorough cleaning and updated living room furniture.

Great location

This location was ideal for the cost. But I will say it does need an upgrade, the linens were stained, and very worn. There was piles of trash outside all the drawers and corners had crumbs and carpet was dirty upon arrival. Definitely needs a good deep clean! But if that was taken care of it’s a nice little place in a great location and priced well for what it is. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Reviewer Comments: The place was nice however upon arriving we had to call and find out what the wifi password was so the lady gave it to me and it connected to something but not sure what cause there was no router box so I think they try and go off another house nearby to escape paying. The following day I was told by the same lady that there was no wifi. Wifi was included as an amenity when I booked then after complaining it disappeared magically.My mother came on this trip thinking she would be able to work and was unable to do so.Then our car died and since we had no wifi and our cell service didn’t work, we walked up this hill to finally be able to reach someone and was told that not having wifi wasn’t an emergency but had to remind them that, that was not our emergency. Our emergency was having our car not start but then not having a way to call out because the land line I in the house does not work as well as the cableThe house was decent but not for all the troubles we went thorough and getting mixed answers on wether or not they have wifi shows that these people renting this house are not honest and just want $.The other houses in the area seemed to have working wifi, cable, no troubles at all so if this was my rental, I would be fixing a few things for a much more pleasant stay for future guests.

Wonderful Coast Trip

My family and I had such a wonderful experience at the coast! It was my children's first time to the coast, and this was a great time. I would suggest maybe getting a more secure wifi and having a password available for guests. Other than that, it was such a great place to stay and escape from the normal rush of life.

Almost a Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Please note this rental has no wifi or cell service- we had 3 carriers and none of us could get signal. There were several maintenance issues to be addressed like the main bathroom door would not close. The cable is spliced so everyone had to watch the same thing in every room if you wanted to watch tv in the bedroom. Bedding was minimal. TV remotes not functional, etc. rental showed available unoccupied online for prior night but we were denied early check in.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Pines despite the absence of warm blankets, hand and dish soap and inaccurate lock box code provided in the confirmation email. The place was clean. The views from the deck and the pitter-patter of the rain on the living room skylight were delightful. So was the gas fireplace. Having the garage was nice as well for easy unloading and loading. Drawbacks, no easy way to access the beach. Lots of private property impeding meanders to the beach. Had to walk along the shoulder of the road to get to the beach. Ultimately found the trail of tires, but it’s a circuitous route.

Quiet Winter Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great rental with nice kitchen and great room space overlooking a grove of pine trees. Winter value pricing was very nice. Peekaboo ocean view from upstairs...but only a quick drive to Oceanside Beach. This was our second visit and we will come back! A home away from home. I would say it would be very comfortable for four, but can sleep up to six in actual beds.
