«room was clean and updated. room was facing the road and was extremely noisy with trucks and motorcycles, etc.. at about 5:55am woke up to a trailer dropping off bulk supplies and up and down their metal ramp. rooms are not soundproof whatsoever, walls sounded like they were made of paper and we could hear absolutely everything on both sides of us. hotel was walkable and parking was super convenient, but noise was definitely an issue.»

«We loved our stay. The staff was fabulous and the rooms were spotless.»

«Close to everything I wanted see. All within walking distance.»

«very good breakfast!»

«Great place to stay, great location and friendly knowledgeable staff for local recommendations. Only thing our bedsheet had a lot of debris of small black dots randomly scattered across the sheets but were not bugs. Would mostly stay again»

«Quimby House is a charming hotel in Bar Harbor. Only a short walk from the town center. The room I got had a very different style from the usual sterile look of the typical hotel. I had some issues with the WiFi and the plumbing could use some TLC but all in all an enjoyable stay. Please note that the hotel has three floors and no elevator!»

«Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.»

«The inn was charming and the room was comfortable but on the small side (the door wouldn't fully open without hitting the side table). The bathroom was equal parts tiny and tidy. The property overall is snug, especially the parking (beware if you are driving a large vehicle), but the compact footprint and unconventional layout made it feel cozy, almost like staying in a friend's guest room rather than a hotel. Other than cramped parking, the only other downside was the noise generated by other ...

«Very good.»

«We requested for house keeping while our room one morning and when we came back, the house keeping was never done. This was missed by the hotel staff. Apart from that it was a nice stay, very convenient location.»

«Loved our stay at the Primrose Inn!»

«Excellent appart hotel, no issues found Very close to Acadia Park.»

«It was centrally located and very easy in and out. Would highly suggest this place to anyone.»

«Unique place to stay. Small but perfect for what we needed. Everything worked fine. Wish it had an actual heating system rather than a portable heater. Got pretty cold and I was afraid to leave the heater on while we were out. This meant longer heating times. Convenient location to Winter Harbor and Ellsworth. Recommend pod-type coffee maker. It would be easier and less messy than bags of coffee.»

«It was a bad smell in our room, even after a couple of hours with the door open. No Staff at site. Had to call or text to get the code to the motel-type room door. The garden view was to the parking lot i front of the two-story building. 2 stars for ice-machine and the chips, water and sodas in the room.»
