We were there on a Saturday night. Several of the other guests were outside partying. Parking became difficult when people who weren't staying at the facility arrived to visit those who were. Room was adequate but we figured the last time it was renovated was probably the late 70's.

We had booked this as a one night stay during a week long roadtrip. We had been camping in Northern California the night before. After a quick check in and dinner, we came back to what we thought was a clean room. Instead, there were gnats all over the bathroom wall, beetles in the shower and sink, and then we found a spider in the bed. After getting rid of that one, and pulling back another pillow, there was second (smaller) spider. Unfortunately the staff was gone for the evening and we called to see if something could be done - no one picked up since they leave at 9. We ended up leaving since we didn’t feel comfortable staying the night and rather drive to our next destination early. I’m disappointed I ended up experiencing more bugs in this room than when I was sleeping in my tent.

We are very sorry that your room was found to be unacceptable due to bugs. As the weather warms and the lake fills in behind us, this is the time of year when we battle an army of bugs. The gnats are attracted to light and enter the room when the door is opened. I will call our pest control company to have them treat that room and the exterior. I wasn't on site until late due to an awards dinner for my daughter. I do wish you would have called the emergency number listed on the office door so you could have spoken to someone last night. A refund has been requested for your stay.

Perfekt Motel for your stay at Sequoia! Spacious rooms which were very clean and cozy. I would especially like to highlight the gardens and surroundings! Everything is well kept and beautiful. Perfekt to relax after a long day of hiking. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. And there's plenty of animals who like being petted!

Very cute place. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The cat in the lobby was adorable! Rooms were a very good size, clean, had a decent size fridge, microwave, and a Keurig coffee machine with complementary pods.

Such a quaint, beautiful place. I just wished we were staying longer and not just one night. Quiet, clean, relaxing outside porch, nice grass areas. Pet friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Very cute place to stay. Little cabins that are clean and well cared for. The entire property is fun to walk and there is river access. I’d definitely stay here again.

Wish we could've stayed longer! The property/scenery is beautiful. The motel room was clean and sufficient. Don't expect a 5 star hotel. It's not fancy, but it is comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Was greeted by turtle the cat and a very nice staff member who made me feel welcome. Had an issue with someone on our parking spot but was easily resolved. Nice room, lots of toiletries. Cozy feel. Only con was the ice machine being down but other than that awesome

"Room" we stayed wasn't only a room, it was practically it's own little cottage, which made the stay feel so much better. Front desk attendant was so nice! They easily accommodated us for our late check-in. And they have small gifts available for purchase. Easy walk to the river that flows right behind the property. And a short drive to Sequoia Nat'l park entrance. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are large and clean. Each building only has a few rooms, making it quiet. I recommend staying here rather than large chain hotels nearby. It's a great place to stay.

This was a lovely place to stay, I was greeted by Turtle, the owners pet at the office upon check-in since the owner was out feeding the sheep. The hotel room was updated and beautiful. You can tell they care and love their business. I wish I could’ve stayed another night. Oh and the Sequoias were amazing!

The Lazy J is the cleanest and friendliest lodging in Three Rivers! It has river access, horseshoes, volleyball, tetherball, etc. Just a great place to stay!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Tolle Lage des Motels mit Zugang zum Fluß. Wir haben viele gute Infos zur Umgebung bekommen. Das Motel ist zwar nicht mehr neu, aber sauber und alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Und die Katze im Office ist sehr niedlich und lässt sich gerne streicheln :)
