Waterfront Cabin in the center of Thompson Falls!!

Relax and enjoy the view from this beautiful custom built river side cabin in Thompson Falls, Montana! This cabin sits on a quiet street in downtown Thompson Falls and is conveniently located close to restaurants, entertainment, the library, coffee shops and more. The deck offers gorgeous views of the reservoir and mountains. The wildlife is abundant! There are deer, eagles (Golden and Bald Eagles), osprey, heron, otters, beavers and more!

You can fish in the water right in front of the cabin. If you are hoping to canoe or kayak, you may put your watercraft in about two blocks east of the cabin. There is a proper boat dock about one mile east of the cabin if you have motor craft. There are many walking and biking trails just a few blocks away that can take you to the bottom of the dam and all the way to the State park.

The cabin has a unique layout. The main floor has a dining table, TV, and kitchenette, which consists of a refrigerator/freezer, air fryer/convection oven, electric griddle, microwave, dishwasher, sink, coffee machine and a hot plate. There is no conventional stovetop/oven. The main floor also hosts the bathroom, which has a shower, but no bathtub. For sleeping arrangements, the main floor has a couch that folds out into a very comfortable queen-sized bed. There is a ladder that goes from the main floor to the open loft, which has a full-sized sleeping pad on the floor. This is a great place for older kids to sleep, but a lot a adults have enjoyed it as well! The main bedroom is located downstairs. This room is accessed by exiting the main floor of the cabin and walking down an exterior staircase. The bedroom is very cozy with a TV and an extremely comfortable queen-sized bed.

Because of the proximity to the water and the open loft configuration of the cabin, we do not encourage families with small children to book this cabin. However we have had many happy families with small kids stay here and had wonderful stays. We just want to be very up front about the open loft and unobstructed access to the water. The neighborhood is very safe. The cabin is directly across from the city hall and one block from the Sheriff's department.
