«Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. «The cottage has been recently updated. The interior looks brand new. The electric fireplace was very nice. I didn't have time to explore the property, because I was there mostly at night. I would definitely stay there again. Cell service isn't great, but it is great if you want to get away from, the stresses from everyday life. Bring an extra blanket if you are there when it is cold outside.»

«The cabin is beautifully situated on a hilltop with beautiful views!! The kids loved the hot tub. The cabin was very clean but I do recommend bringing an extra pillow if you sleep with more than one pillow. Also, if using the hot tub, bring extra towels because you only get 4. «For any "vintage" lovers, this is the village to stay in. We enjoy antiques, history, etc and this is such a great place to enjoy those things.
