«This a terrific hotel in the heart of the Gateshead countryside. The staff are extremely efficient and very helpful to make stay the best experience ever. The restaurant food is of a very high standard, never a bad meal yet. The only negative is that GPS systems for one reason or another can not find location. So we eventually found that if you input North Rise, it will take right to the Bowes Incline Hotel, —- go figure ! Great stay.»

Pleasant walks through local parks & along coast nearby. Parking - widely available as free spaces outside along whole length of road & nearby side roads. «I had a great time here and felt like I was at home not in a hotel. It had everything I needed and was close to the beach. They were so friendly and happy to help me find my way around the area. Breakfast was amazing too, so many options. All for a much better price than staying in central Newcastle which is easily reached by the metro a short walk down the road. I would definitely stay here again. »

«Came over for the Newcastle game and had a nice stay for 3 nights..The staff was just great,arrived very late and the boss was waiting for me so i safe could check in..The location was also good,took me 25 min walk to St .James Park..i will be back here and can recomend this for everyone :)»

«This is a small Bed & Breakfast guest house type, and not a good hotel standard at all. It's just a worn out pub with some rooms above in 1st floor. In the bathroom, the sink was blocked and the cranes in the shower cabinet was falling appart during showering. The television was not working. At the entrance door it was newly painted without any sign for the guests to take care. Luckily i avided to be soiled on my dress, only my fingers.»

«It was great. Stayed while passing through, so we were only there one night. Close to food. I can’t remember what we did nearby, but it seemed like a nice place to stay for a couple of days. We were heading from Scotland to London though, so no time for a stop. Only thing we found was that there was no oven. Slightly inconvenient since we bought pizzas to cook.
