  • Dette er den klassiske tømmerhytta (med nytt kjøkken!) du har lett etter. Ligger i Driggs, Idaho - 45 miles fra Jackson Hole og 97 miles fra Yellowstone. Soveplass til 2 voksne i queen size-seng, og andre soverommet har dobbeltseng og en annen dobbeltmadrass for gulv. Kåret av Men's Journal 'den beste lille byen i Amerika'.

    Perfekt for et par eller en liten familie, kunstner / forfatter retrett, bryllupsreise, fugletitting, fotturer, kajakkpadling, ski, fiske eller bare nyte den friske luften.

    Colter Cabin ligger på 7 dekar omgitt av ranches og asp trær. Utsikt over skiområdet Grand Targhee og Grand Tetons fra fordekket. 25 minutters kjøretur til Grand Targhee for flott puderski og 65 minutters kjøretur over passet for å gå på ski i Jackson Hole. Langrenn og truger ut inngangsdøren eller på mange preparerte løyper i nærheten.

    Flott kajakkpadling på elvene Teton og Snake og terrengsykling i Big Hole Mountains. Fluefiske ved Leigh Creek, Teton River og Henry's Fork. Gå ut gjennom døren i Jedediah Smith Wilderness. Vakker Leigh Creek innen gangavstand. Ridning og golf tilgjengelig 5 min. borte. Darling by Driggs med søte restauranter og butikker ligger en 7 kilometer kjøretur.

    Jackson Hole (50 minutters kjøretur) er full av kunstgallerier, shopping, museer, restauranter, flyturer på slangen, langrenn og alpint. Flyplassene i Idaho Falls og Jackson ligger begge 75 minutter unna. Yellowstone nasjonalpark ligger 100 miles nord - gå inn på West Yellowstone. Island Park and Henry's Fork, et område med verdensberømt fluefiske, ligger 40 minutter nord.

The cabin is cozy and perfect for a small family. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace, grilling on the porch, and watching the horses in the adjacent property. The short drive over to Grand Tetons was reasonable, and going north to Yellowstone was also possible. The local town of Driggs provides all the groceries that you might need, not to mention just being an adorable spot to visit. Check out the rodeo at the local fairgrounds if visiting in the summer.

Beautiful area and lovely cabin. We had a wonderful time. There was supposed to be laundry soap and there wasn't (not the end of the world!) and the coffee pot had moldy coffee in it. Other than that, the cabin was clean and we were very happy with our stay. Highly recommend!

Minutes from Fun

The Cabin is in a great location, my family and I were able to enjoy Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park using the West Entrance, and Idaho Falls while staying here. The cabin made our trip so much better.

great place for tranquility and relaxation

loved our stay. great little cabin in a beautiful rural setting. great place to relax, read a book and enjoy the beauty and weather. quite close to town for meals and exploring. Ginger is the best!

This property was as advertised. The Colter Cabin was extremely clean and the location was outstanding. Views of the Teton Mountains were beautiful and the horses practically in the back yard were inspiring. Our stay was relaxing and a convenient hub for our planned activities. Exceeded our expectations!!

Peaceful Getaway

Colter Cabin, Tetonia

Very nice and secluded cabin with beautiful views. Close enough to local restaurants and grocery stores. Plenty of local places to hike and explore if you don’t feel like making a trip over the mountain pass to access the national parks. The cabin itself was clean, warm, and cozy. Would highly recommend.

1st time out west

Stayed here while visiting the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. The cabin was great! Clean, quiet, and had all the amenities we needed. The only problem was its location in regards to the parks. 1.5 hour drive to Yellowstone and 1 hour drive to Jackson and the Tetons.

Truly outstanding property!

This is a one-of-a-kind property bear beautiful Driggs, Idaho. If you are skiing at Grand Targhee this is the perfect spot to be within 30 minutes of the resort, but in a very private setting. Ginger, the host, was great. Kitchen is perfectly stocked, bathrooms are great and the cabin is amazing!

Serenity Now!!

This cabin should be named Serenity Now!! It was the most PEACEFUL, quiet, and beautiful place I have ever stayed. Nestled on many acres of farm-land with a view of the Tetons and Mountains all around, this was a dream! If you want peace, tranquility, and to get away from it all with a ton of outdoor adventure close by then this is THE PLACE!

Nice cabin

It is a secluded very cute cabin! Things were well stocked. Sunset views over the ranch were awesome. There are 12-15 horses in the backyard (neighboring ranch) that are very fun to watch at all times of day! The drive to GTNP, Teton Village, and Jackson goes quick and is beautiful.

Great location with spectacular views. The only draw back was there was no tv option and we had to use our own streaming passwords if we wanted to watch any thing. The remotes were very complicated to use. After a long day sightseeing or early in the morning it would have been nice to have tv. Unfortunately? Based on this, this rental would not be an option in the future.

Little Peace of Heaven

Can't say enough about how peaceful this cabin is. We were able to travel to both Yellowstone and Tetons national Park. The road closure requires some extra drive time but the drive was absolutely beautiful. Both parks are stunning. That being said the best part of our stay was the evening sunsets on the porch at the cabin. The birds songs were the only music we needed along with the sound of the wind blowing through the trees which sounded like the ocean. The sunsets are God's masterpieces each night giving us a glimpse of heaven. I've never seen sunsets like the ones of the cabin before in my life. Another bonus was the bed was incredibly comfortable. The mattress was just perfect for my bad back. The owner could not be more responsive. She was very caring about everything regarding our stay.
