Chavenage House has been built over the centuries ranging from the late 16th century through to the turn of the 20th century. The house has been used in many TV productions and is also a location for weddings. The house is open to the public on selective days. The principal guide is the owner whose anecdotal tour is memorable and entertaining.

Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. »

«Lovely well thought out little cottage in nice quiet area on outskirts of Bath. But local buses close by that make access to the city really easy. Although is a bit of steeper walk back up to the cottage might be harder for some with walking difficulties. Or driving in easy enough. After busy day was nice just to relax in comfortable lounge, and if not up for cooking def recommend the local chippy (if you gluten free they do cater on a Monday and Tuesday too). "Kjempe god frokost! Godt utvalg. Kjempe fint rom, god seng. Kaffe og te på rommet. Veldig bra gym! Hadde alt en trenger. Fint basseng området. Fint området rundt. Hyggelig de som jobbet der. Fikk sjekke ut sent. Men hadde ikke AC på rommet mitt , så veldig varmt. Og jeg var der i september. Stor trivdes på hotellet. "
