Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing, but what made it worse was how management handled our concerns afterward.
We were aware there was renovation happening, and we accepted that. What we did not expect was to be moved rooms because our toilet stopped working, and then be placed in a room where the shower flooded the bathroom and extended into the main walkway of the room. Water had to be soaked up with towels, which staff provided instead of fixing the issue. This created a safety and sanitation concern for my family.
When I followed up about these problems, the manager, Desiree Nava, responded by questioning why we stayed both nights instead of acknowledging the situation. The issues happened late at night, and moving my family to another hotel at that hour was not a realistic option. Being blamed for staying instead of supported as a guest was shocking and unprofessional.
We were offered only a partial refund and then told to contact Expedia, even though payment was made directly to the hotel. The response from management felt dismissive and lacked accountability for the conditions we experienced.
Between the broken toilet, flooding shower, and management’s attitude, this stay did not meet basic expectations of comfort, safety, or customer service. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families.
