«The room has a distinctive unpleasant smell. Likely pet odor. Hotel has no other available rooms so we cancelled. Need Expedia support to ensure no charge.»

«Clean and well kept»

«Clean rooms helpful and friendly staff.»

«The room was very spacious for sleeping up to 6, a great desk area and we loved the separate toilet and shower. Overall very convenient if you’re planning a trip to carowinds PLUS don’t forget to ask about a parking pass so you don’t have to pay for a parking spot at carowinds. Very clean and the staff was professional and helpful! Only thing I wasn’t impressed with was breakfast, while there were a good amount of options a lot of the hot food was overcooked or too sweet, I wish there were more ...

«Our room was clean and our beds were comfortable. (Nice to have hot water immediately in the bathroom, too.) Being located near two busy roads, the noise level was a little louder than other places where we've stayed; but, our sound machine came in handy and muffled the outside traffic. The staff was delightful, very helpful, and supportive. Breakfast was good; similar to most other hotel buffets. We also appreciated the security feature using the elevator. We did help a couple of guests ...

«Great view of the park from my room on the 5th floor. Convenient parking. Kind staff. Room was very comfortable.»

«While the hotel was mostly clean and well maintained, a few things did fall by the wayside... Almost none of the ice machines were working. The bar area, which opened up after 4pm was usually under staffed and not responsive... The front desk staff was somewhat helpful but not always. Overall though, it was a nice hotel in a convenient location for a fair price.»

«Great staff! Great breakfast. Very clean and nice. They also have a score of 100!!»

«We truly appreciated everyone who works at Tru by Marriott in Fort Mill! Laura was a rockstar and helped us get checked in and settled. She was also so kind and friendly and talked with us like we were long lost friends. The hotel was great! Good breakfast options each day and fun game room to entertain our family while we waited for others. Very much appreciate everyone and everything!»

«The property and the people who worked there were great with the exception of there was NO hot water. The property personnel were great and compensated us for the inconvenience.»

«We really picked a great location to stay. Very convenient and walking distance to nearby restaurants and grocery stores.»

«It was disappointing that breakfast was not included for what I paid for the room.»

«Breakfast was very nice and had a variety of choices. Make sure to get there early! Staff was very friendly and helpful.»

«Location was perfect. Overnight in route from Florida to the mountains in NC»
