Incredible Views! Stunning log home w/ wrap around deck and covered porch

This 3 bedroom (plus bunk room) log home is located on Angel Fire's prestigious Vail Loop. Situated on nearly 8.5 acres, it has impressive views of Wheeler Peak (NM's highest mountain) and the Moreno Valley. Step inside for rustic southwest charm. The window wall lets in plenty of natural light and the views will take your breath away. Relax in the great room, which features knotty pine walls and ceilings, large wood beams, slate tile flooring and a cute propane stove. Enjoy your favorite movies on the large flat-screened TV. The well-equipped kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a large farm sink. You'll find everything you need to prepare delicious meals. There's also a propane grill on the deck for your outdoor cooking. Upstairs is a sitting room loft and the private master suite. Unwind in the jetted tub. There's a separate walk-in shower and double sinks in the ensuite bath. There are two additional bedrooms, each with a queen bed, on the main level. A full bath and laundry area is also located on the main level. Downstairs is the bunk room perfect for the kids. It features two sets of bunk beds. The bunk room even has its own flat screen TV for the kids to enjoy. The spacious deck beckons. The front deck has the most incredible views. You'll look at majestic Wheeler Peak and down the Moreno Valley. At night the lights of town will twinkle below you while the stars shine from above. The deck features log railings, a picnic table, a propane grill, Adirondack-style chairs. and a fire pit table. This will be your favorite place to sip a glass of wine, savor a hot chocolate or enjoy your morning coffee. Step around the front deck to the beautifully covered side deck. The views just don't stop! You'll find comfy chairs to take in the fresh mountain air and a patio table where you can dine alfresco. Below is a fire pit with wood provided. We recommend 4-wheel or All-wheel drive vehicles for anyone coming to the mountains in the winter. Please note that the driveway is steep and curvy, and will be kept plowed in the winter.

This cabin was so beautiful, very well-kept and clean, and had an incredible view! The hosts communicated with us ahead of the stay and were very kind and welcoming. Perfect space for 2-3 small families, 3 TVs & many games/activities. I would recommend a baby gate if traveling with crawling infants due to the steeper wooden stairs. I would also second their recommendation of 4-wheel drive, as the driveway to get down to the cabin is tight and steep. We will be back!

Communication with the owners was very difficult… I had some employees staying there that did leave a mess behind unfortunately, but I was very communicative and did my part to make sure that everything was returned back to normal. I also believe they blamed us for stuff that wasn’t accurate that might’ve been caused by other tenants but we still paid for it as to make sure that everyone was happy. Not even a simple thank you from them. Be careful with this host they will pick apart your stay.

Check-in was easy. House had everything needed to cook a variety of meals, with a gas grill out on the deck. Comfortable home with plenty of clean towels. Wrap around deck was the perfect spot to chill and enjoy breathtaking views of the valley and Wheeler Peak during the day, and awesome stargazing at night. Overall wonderful home!

Great quiet getaway

Property is great took my parents (upper 70’s) wife and three kids. House was easy to navigate and property manager was very prompt at responding. Overall very very pleased. House is super well stocked l. The only slight negative I can think is the deck has beautiful views but not the most comfortable seating.

Beautiful views, but a little dirty.

First, I would like to say that this home is truly beautiful with magnificent views and an easy location--it was a short 10 minute drive to the slopes, and we had no issues at all with the drive. Also, the property manager was very helpful and communicative. They even salted our driveway when I expressed concern about the weather. There are only two real issues that I would complain about at all. The first one is the cleanliness. It wasn't terrible, but under the couch had clearly not been cleaned in a very long time, and the cupboards were completely full of left over food from previous guests. The food wasn't expired, but it was difficult to store our own food. It appears that the cleaning service is not dusting very well, and also, the tub had not been cleaned before we arrived. I am assuming that this is a lack of oversight of the cleaning crew, as it doesn't seem like a "dirty house." The second issue is with the guest bedrooms. There should be dressers in all of the bedrooms, and there were none. I had nowhere to place clothes besides hanging them, and also the bedding was extremely old. The bunk room was actually an odd converted mudroom with no windows, and our kids were actually afraid to sleep in there with the garage door opening into it. It was a very odd room. So, basically, this house would be close to perfect with a true deep clean, new bedding (and towels), dressers in the guest rooms, and some sprucing up in the weird bunk room. Thanks!

Family friendly property!

We had a fantastic stay! Everything was perfect for our family trip. Property manager was easy to contact and assist us as needed. Definitely will be back and plan on staying here again. You can’t beat the sunset and view from the balcony!

Great cabin, beautiful views

this is a well maintained and very well stocked cabin, plenty of towels, pots, pans, and dishes. This was refreshing to have as we stay in quite a few rentals every year and most are lacking somewhere. Everything worked as should and the one small issue we had with a gas fireplace remote control was resolved quickly. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Magnificent property and VIEWS!!

This property was the perfect place for a girls' getaway. Online pictures simply cannot capture the beauty of the views and the overall property. We walked each morning around the quiet neighborhood and explored down the mountain behind the house in the afternoons. Great deck to enjoy coffee and sunrise and to relax in the evenings with a firepit. The home was super clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals there. The property manager was wonderful and very responsive. This place is truly a gem and I look forward to returning again and again.

What a View!!!

Absolutely Amazing!

The owners of this property are performing a public service and an act of kindness by sharing this place with others and allowing them to experience it's serenity and beauty when they are not using it. I hope they continue to do this as we plan to return many times! We have been coming to this area for decades. We love it and even had our own place at one point. Staying at this property continues to remind me why we keep coming back to the Enchanted Circle. The view of the valley from the back deck is almost second to none. The property is awesome... very roomy, lots of trees, lots of wild life to watch, and a fantastic porch. The inside is very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make a home cooked meal. The sectional is super comfortable and the furniture throughout is a perfect match for what you would expect at a nice log cabin in the woods. This place is perfect for a couples getaway or for the family/kids. The bunk room is perfect for the kids. Book it! You won't regret it! A few FYI's so you know what to expect: - If you are familiar with the AF resort area, you know that 99% of the homes in this area are up gravel mountain roads. I wouldn't recommend driving a sedan up to this place if you value your suspension. - The village of Angel Fire is at around 8500 ft elevation, this property is at around 9000 ft.
