Beautiful property, amazing staff, specially Juan Carlos, Freddy and the ladies in the kitchen. The best breakfast we had in all CR. Too bad it is located in a town where millions of dollars are generated from the super expensive restaurants and hotels and not one penny put back into its infrastructure. Tamarindo should have the best roads, sidewalks and a sewer system. I don't think it is "charming" to walk on muddy roads, right next to trucks and noisy cars.

We highly recommend this boutique hotel located walking distance from the beach, restaurants and shops. It’s very clean, stuff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful each morning.

Everything about my stay was wonderful! From pre-arriving, to helping me book transportation to from the airport, to check-in, this stay really enhanced my trip. The breakfast is incredible! The coffee is amazing. Freddie our breakfast server was delightful. Justin at the front desk is super helpful and his positive energy is continuous. Thanks for the tips on the coffee and attention to detail through every interaction. I wish i was staying here longer but will definitely spread the word. I loved the pool! And rooms are super clean and met all my needs.

The staff was wonderful and they helped book some activities for us. The breakfast was wonderful each morning. Luis with the breakfast staff was super sweet and knowledgeable about things to see and do in Tamarindo as well as La Fortuna. Justin at the front desk was great too. I have To say the housekeeping staff impressed me most though. My sister accidentally left $500 on her bed and the housekeeper tucked it in her bed covers to keep it safe. Such a wonderful and honest establishment!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Felt like in a guesthouse. Location is 15 mins walk from the beach and all the restaurants and shops. The road is not done though- no side walks. But at the end it didn’t matter. The peacefulness of Tamarindo took over and after a week we didn’t want to leave. Great breakfast, although I felt the lack of green/vege salads option.

Well kept and beautiful looking property a short walk from Tamarindo city and beach. Super friendly staff and very well kept property. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious!! Pool is on the smaller side, but never had more than 2-3 people at it. Never had a problem getting parking. Room is very clean and well maintained, air con worked great and bathroom was very nice. Area around the hotel is mainly housing and small hotels, but super easy access to downtown Tamarindo through the back walking path. Not at all a beach hotel, but an easy 10 minute walk gets you anywhere you need to be - including the beach! Never had any issues with noise, day or night. Would definitely stay here again if back in Tamarindo!

Our stay was just wonderful! Staff was lovely, our little casita was adorable (and clean!), the pool area was relaxing and private, and our breakfast was delicious! Would recommend.

This is the perfect hotel for staying in Tamarindo. It is an easy walk to everything in town, the breakfast is excellent, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the pool is a perfect spot to relax when the day is hot.

Great spot for a low key low stress vacation
Cozy boutique hotel with all the amenities we needed! Extremely friendly staff was also helpful getting transfers for us with No stress!! Wonderful breakfast made to order.

Great Place!
The hotel was great as was the staff! Also, it is a great location close to everything, but not too close! Took me a few mins to walk to where I wanted to go as I didn't want to be in the middle of everything.

The host and owner was onsite daily and offered many great suggestions for dining out. Staff was attentive and friendly. Bungalow was clean and well maintained, with very comfortable bed. Breakfast options were all delicious. Pool and seating areas were great. Highly recommend!!

A wonderful Christmas in Tamarindo
We had a wonderful experience at Arco Iris. The walk to the beach was easy and there was a grocery store, pharmacy and at least one bank w/ATM on the way. Overall the room we got was fairly quiet and the air conditioning worked well. Nothing particularly special about the room itself but the bed was comfortable and it was cleaned daily. Oh, and at certain times of the day you could see and hear howler monkeys from the pool. Breakfast was really good for a small mom & pop style (privately owned) hotel. It was freshly made to order and there were probably about eight options to choose from. I went with pancakes most days, my wife took the egg path on occasion, neither of us had any complaints. The pool was pretty small but had well shaded options for seating/laying out when the heat and humidity is a bit much. There were never more than 2-4 other people there during our trip. Really, though, I imagine most people would walk the 7 minutes to the beach. Sorry this review is a bit all over the place, but the general point is - it was worth it and we genuinely enjoyed our time while staying in Tamarindo.
