«The people at this hotel were generally very friendly and helpful, and that's the main positive thing about this place. Plus perhaps the location: close to downtown and with sufficient shops and eateries nearby. And the price was pretty ok for Port of Spain. Furthermore, this place really needs a proper refubishment. «This used to be a good hotel years back when it was Crowne Plaze, but those were the days! Now the hotel is worn and the service poor. I have been staying in many hotels around the world during this pandemic and that will not be their excuse. Twice they forgot to bring my food to my room. There was no way to pick it up myself. Had to sleep hungry that night!»

«From check in to check out the. hospitality of the staff was remarkable. Breakfast was hot and delicious, drinks were well made and the view from th lobby during sunset was amazing. The room is dated including the linen but it was very clean and no weird odor. Did not partake in the pool but the water looked very inviting and refreshing. The room was spacious, clean, pleasant an fresh, with quiet and efficient aircon. A spacious bathroom with a nice spacious shower was greatly appreciated. The pool is wonderful. The self service breakfast was convenient and nice. We stayed two days and would be happy to have stayed longer!»

«Pax Guest House is in a heritage building so it is important to know that some of the facilities are older. This did not impede our stay but it is something that visitors should be aware of before arriving. Both Gerard and Oda were wonderful hosts and made our time in Trinidad that much better.
