Perched on a sunny hillside, this former vineyard house is an ideal retreat for a couple. From the large wooden terrace, you can admire the valley below. Nature lovers will enjoy the numerous hiking and mountain biking trails starting from or near the village, including the PR 10 trail leading to an ancient dolmen. A few kilometers away, the Allier gorges offer opportunities to discover wild landscapes, with swimming, water sports, and leisurely boat trips. The villages of Chanteuges and Prades are among the area's highlights, boasting abbeys, valley scenery, and impressive basalt columns sculpted by volcanic activity. Beyond its natural heritage, the region also contains major historical sites, such as Mont Mouchet, a key location for the French Resistance in the Auvergne. To extend your getaway, discover Lavoute-Chilhac, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, or Saugues, a town of character with a rich heritage, renowned for the legend of the Beast of Gévaudan and the vast landscapes of the Margeride region that surround it.
