Supert.
Hadde angitt ved bestilling at jeg ønsket rom høyt oppe. Endte opp med å få det eneste rommet de hadde på 5te etasje. Heisen gikk kun til 4de, men det var verdt å bære koffertene i trappa den siste etasjen. Fantastisk rom. Egen balkong med 2 stoler og 1 bord. Eneste som kunne ha vært bedre var aircondition og kjøleskap. Det manglet. Super service. Fikk lov til å la bilen stå på parkeringsplassen nesten hele dagen etter (mens vi gikk bananas på tog og gondol i Zermatt). Helt grei frokost. Noe plaget med fluer der, som føltes litt unødvendig på et slikt etablissement. Spiste middag hos dem på ankomstdagen/kvelden. Den var veldig god, men noe overpriset, slik som alt er i dette området.

Good stay. Will come back !
Spotless clean room with basic, but satisfactory amenities for the price we paid. Excellent location just next to the train going between Tasch-Zermatt. Breakfast was basic but fine. The wellness centre was a good add-on after a whole day on the slopes. Overall, a very good budget alternative to expensive and overpriced Zermatt. The only thing I did not like was the lack of ventilation in the room. You need to open to window to get any air.

Praktisk beliggenhet i nærheten av Zermatt
Hotellet ligger rett ved togstasjonen i Täsh og det var derfor enkelt å komme til Zermatt og samtidig ha bilen parkert rett utenfor hotellet. (Siden Zermatt er en bilfri by) Helt fint hotell å overnatte på sommerstid. Eneste minus var frokosten. Det ble ikke passet på at det var nok brød eller kaffe og pålegget bar preg å ha ligget lenge på fatet.

Check-in was quick and easy, and room was bigger than expected, clean, comfortable, with plenty of room to store / lock things; a side-door to an outside terrace with a table and chairs, and a great shower with plenty of pressure and warm water. Bed was cozy, and smart TV was new and viewing choices were abundant in several languages. The restaurant was usually busy, but they always found a table quickly for me (would recommend making reservations though). Service from the restaurant staff was excellent - friendly, attentive, quick, and helpful. Elvira was so helpful and friendly - as was most of the staff. I had dinner there all three nights, and was never disappointed. The soups, appetizers - and, in particular, the pizzas, were delicious - which was perfect after a day of exhausting skiing. Lastly, the location of the Matterhorn Inn couldn't be better. They are located less than 1 minute (right across the street) from the Täsch rail station. Will definitely return!

Pros: proximity of train station, parking, cleanliness easy check in Cons,: noise, unbearable noise starting at 7am rolling delivery carts for nearly an hour, Also construction in the room above, Room was really small circa 2 m wide, bed uncomfortable . Between jet lag and amount of noise in the morning not a good experience.

A walking distance from the station as we wanted to visit Zermatt and take the Glacier Express. The hotel was very convenient, clean and the room was spacious for two people. We loved the balcony and the view! We would highly recommend this place to our family and friends. Staff was courteous (as we only speak Spanish/English) and make the exception for an early check-in. We had a great stay here. Very walkable small town with easy transportation into Zermatt (shuttle train departs every 20 mins or so). Room was very clean. Staff was kind enough to hold our luggage on check out day so we could go into Zermatt comfortably.

Nice stay
Room is quite small but we have a big veranda. USB charger would be better if it is next to bed than under the TV. Very convenient as train to Zermatt is just across the road, Coop and Migros grocery stores right next to it, beautiful surroundings, free car park. I support eco friendly stuff but I think they do need to give enough coffees, teas and milk for the stay, and also top up tissues and toilet roll for the stay. We don’t ask for any room cleaning service but we have to ask for the supplies. They are not the only hotel we have to ask for supplies, many of the hotels we stayed in this trip have to do the same. It’s inconvenience as we either have to go to the counter or catch the cleaners as there’s no room phones, some hotel do but not connected!! Overall it’s a good stay.

The staff was rude and the frint desk was rarely attended by a employee of the hotel. For these prices we received very little. Totally not worth the money and could not in good conscience recommend this property to anyone.

The hotel was in a great location directly across from the train station that takes you into Zermatt.
