This is a great location and a fine room for the relatively low price in the neighborhood. The hostess can be hard to reach and at times seems irritated that guests expect service. We had to ask for toilet paper, which wasn't delivered until the next day. She did not offer any consideration for the fact that the weekend would hit record breaking high temperatures. (For example, opening windows, setting up fans, etc.) Several windows did not have screens and she was unsure how to open the other windows. (We got it figured out.)
At the time of booking, she warned us there would be construction on the main residence, but that the rental unit was in a separate structure. We said that would be no problem. However, the construction was actually taking place above the rental unit. The rental is below a garage -- not used for cars--because of our crazy hills here. It's a very clever use of the space, but the overhead construction was frustrating. A minor mislisting was advertising the 2 nice robes but there was only one. (Didn't matter on our 100 degree weekend!)
I think this hostess is new and perhaps a bit taken aback at the service expected by guests. As I said, it's a fine little space for the price and hopefully hospitality will improve.
