Visit this Beautiful Lakehouse on Skaneateles Lake!!

Lakeside Landing is on the West Side of Skaneateles Lake and it is located 15 minutes from the the Village of Skaneateles, approximately 8 minutes to Anyela's Vineyard and 45 minutes from Syracuse University. The house is directly on the lake. The interior was remodeled, repainted and decorated in 2020/2021. This property is ideal for those looking for privacy and a relaxing family vacation.

Enjoy the beautiful sunrises from the porch or from the dock. There is 100 feet of lakefront for you to enjoy, including a mooring for a boat rental.

The main level has an open floor plan, a new kitchen with new counter tops and new cookware, a spacious living room and a gas fireplace, half bath and washer and dryer on the first floor. The living room leather couch pulls out to a queen sofa bed for extra guests to enjoy.

On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Two of the bedrooms also have a pull out twin sofa bed. On the second floor there is one bathroom with a tub and shower.

The property also has an outdoor shower, a BBQ and a separate bunk house with 2 bunk beds. Guests have to fill the propane tank for their own use at ACE Hardware in town.

There is a mooring ball for guests to hook up a rental boat. Guests cannot dock the boat at the dock, however, they can hook up to the mooring ball and load and unload at the dock. If Guests wish to trailer their own boat to the property, they must trailer the boat to Skaneateles Marina or the public launch and keep the trailer at a different location. The road to the house is a private road and guests cannot keep vehicles or trailers parked on the road. A trailer and boat cannot be kept in the driveway due to space and incline of the road and driveway.

LAYOUT OF HOUSE AND BEDROOMS:
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms.

Master Bedroom has a queen bed, all new bedding with a desk.

Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed and a sofa pull out chair that is twin size.

Bedroom 2 has a murphy bed that pulls out to a Queen size bed and it has a chair that pulls out to a twin bed (good for a small person or child)

The bunk house has 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4 people).

Living room has pull out couch - Queen bed. The house has 2 air mattresses as well.

One full bath upstairs. Half bath downstairs. Outdoor PRIVATE shower.

Dream Vacation

This was a graduation gift to my two daughters 18 and 22. There were 8 of us and we are all still talking about how amazing it was. The house looks like something out of a movie it is so beautiful with views of the lake from everywhere. Kelly the owner thought of every detail, we were never in need of any item little or big. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked great. We cooked huge family dinners, roasted smore's by the fire pit, played games, fished, kayaked, swam in the lake, it was perfect. On a rainy day you could read on the beautiful porch, even the teens unplugged and relaxed. It was perfect!!

Wonderful home!

My sister’s family and mine have vacationed together every summer since our kids were little. This is the first year we did not go to the ocean and chose the skaneatles lake. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed and more! Kelly was a wonderful host responding to any question we had. Our kids loved fishing off the dock and great family time around the fire pit. We also rented a boat from finger lake boat rentals who were wonderful! We will be back:)

Awesome vacation

Rented the week during 4th of July. House is located on a great part of the lake close to boat launch, Marina, and short drive to town. House is cozy cool, very clean, and well maintained. Kelly, the owner is awesome to work with, very responsive to all our questions, before and throughout our stay, and gave great suggestions. Family had a blast and looking forward to coming back.

Summer Escape

A quiet, beautiful area of the lake! The house is well-equipped and the views are breathtaking. We enjoyed the spaces such as the fire pit, dock and the PORCH!!! The porch is double deep so still enjoyable in the rain. The kitchen is open and the large table is great for gatherings. While close to the quiet, south end of the lake, the location is close enough to town for excursions. Thank you for an enjoyable week!

PERFECT FALL WEEKEND!

We spent an amazing few days at this lakefront property. The stunning views were outstanding. The house is located In a beautifully secluded area on the lake …very peaceful. The house accommodated our family of 4 perfectly. We found the kitchen to be well stocked, as well as the bathroom and laundry room. The house is beautifully decorated, super clean and very cozy. The distance to the village is not far at all and what a spectacular view driving in! Syracuse and surrounding towns and villages are not a far drive away either….we absolutely loved our stay and will be back again! Thank you to Kelly for being so responsive and available during our stay.

A Dream Vacation

Stayed here for a long weekend with friends and it was the most comfortable and relaxing vacation. Everything is carefully thought out from the fully stocked kitchen to the towels right next to the door when coming in from the lake. The kayaks are perfect for an early morning on the lake. The home was super clean and Kelly was always a text away just in case we needed anything. You won’t be disappointed. We will be returning.

Heaven on Earth!

We had the best week! This is a top notch home, clean, beautifully appointed, views that can’t be beat. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, corn hole and shuffleboard tournaments, campfires, reading on the dock, boating and swimming. From teens to toddler there was plenty for everyone to enjoy. Highly recommend!

Picture perfect week at the lake

The house was clean and very comfortable for hanging out, preparing meals together, spending time around the fire pit, and spending time on the lake with the kayaks and paddleboard. Idyllic Family Vacation

Our family had an unforgettable getaway at this beautiful property. We absolutely loved the views from the front porch, beautiful deck and dock right on the crystal clear water. It was instantly relaxing for all of us. The property is tucked away and so private. The starts at night took our breath away! The kitchen was well appointed and the huge dining table sat all of us! The beds were super comfortable and the pillows were so soft. Kelly was so kind and helpful from start to finish. She was a dream host! We'd highly recommend this fantastic property and the charming nearby community. The shopping and restaurants were plentiful and so fun. Thank you for allowing us to experience this slice of heaven!

relaxing get away

We really enjoyed our stay. The host provided all the towels, linens, firewood for the fire pit, kayaks, life vests and paddle boards. There was a beautiful view each morning and evening, looking out on the lake and it was easy to walk down the steps to the lake. The host provided us with a list of activities in the area and was always a text away. It was relaxing that we could unwind and enjoy the lake right from the house and the location was near the town. We are able to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Perfect Place

What a great property. Beautiful views, great town, and not far from Cornell and the hiking at Robert Tremen park, the falls, etc. House in wonderful shape and well managed. Excellent communication with the hosts. and you can get wonderful exercise doing the stairs to the lake.

Splendid vacation on Skaneateles Lake

Wonderful property exceptionally maintained and clean. Plenty of comfortable Adirondack chairs available throughout the property to enjoy the incredible views. Beds were so comfy. Easy access to Skaneateles and Auburn. The driveway is steep and, as the owner warned, you must have an all wheel drive vehicle to get out. Take that advice seriously. Access to the lake is 53 steps. The dock at the bottom is wonderful though. Plenty of chairs and kayaks. Life jackets and noodles are also provided. You get morning sunrise on the dock and by late morning the sun is just past some trees to allow for a comfortable, shady dock with sun on the water for the rest of the day. Lovely lake home with plenty to offer!

Beautifully appointed lake home

Kelly did an amazing job renovating and decorating this awesome lake side home. Everything in the home was beautiful and so well coordinated. We loved sitting on the rockets on the front porch and lounging at the lake. The bunk house was perfect for our young adult children. Unfortunately our son had to work the entire week but we have AT&T cellular service and bought a hotspot. He set up his office in the bunk house and it worked perfectly.

Lake side getaway

Was looking for a secluded house close to lake with easy access to lake it self. Well this house fit that bill perfectly. The house looks over the lake with a covered porch offering restful views for all any time during the day. Spent many hours there. We also loved the private access to the lake via the dock (though stairs could be a challenge for the very young and elderly) with easy swimming. Many mornings we were only folks in the lake. We also took full advantage of the 3 kayaks and board for added adventure. The house has been recently renovated with functional open floor concept on the first floor and 3 bedrooms upstairs. One of our party enjoyed the privacy of the bunkhouse. Kitchen was fully fitted out for dinner cooking along with a gas grill outside.would high,y recommend for a restful stay in the Finger lake area.

Beautiful Getaway

What a great house! It was clean, well appointed, and had everything in it that we needed. There was enough space both inside and outside so that the 8 of us didn't feel crowded whether we were watching TV, playing games in the dining area, enjoying the view from the porch, or hanging out on the lower dock to go swimming or kayaking. The lake was calm which made it good for novice kayakers. Kelly (owner) was responsive to any questions we had and super helpful with suggesting nearby activities. Even though we didn't have the best weather, the proximity of the house to wineries, shops and restaurants kept us entertained.

Incredible lake house getaway!

If you’re looking for a beautiful lake retreat in an incredible location, this is your spot! We had a group of 10 and loved every minute of our stay. The home is newly renovated, spacious and beautifully designed/furnished. The outdoor wrap around porch was lovely for gathering, as was the outdoor fire pit. The teenage kids loved the bunk house as their own little sanctuary. And the lake itself is absolutely beautiful. We put a lot of use on the kayaks and SUP provided. Communication from Kelly (the owner) was excellent and we felt we could reach out for anything at anytime. We’ll be coming back for sure and highly recommended this property for anyone looking for an upstate NY lake vacation! Proximity to downtown Skaneateles (15 mins) and Auburn (20) mins was great as well.
