"A lovely and charming historical hotel in a quieter neighbourhood outside the centre. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and relaxing by the pool and walked in to the old town at Ortigia every day, it’s about half an hour if you are used to walking. The pool is very nice and there are plenty of sun beds, no need to reserve. All the staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful, from the front desk to restaurant, bar, housekeeping and pool bar. The air conditioning can be quite noisy but we eventually figured out how to adjust it and switch it off, and the reception staff were also very helpful about found this remotely for us as an alternative solution. The grounds are impressive and it’s a short walk to a sea view, cycle and walking or jogging path north along the coast, and even closer to the Zen solarium platform where you can book sun beds and swim in the sea (down steps into rocks, not a beach). Grand Hotel Villa Politi has everything you need for a pleasing and relaxing holiday, especially if you don’t want to be right in the thick of the bustling old town but have more room to breathe."

"Amassing view. A balcony almost in the Mediterranean. A host the are super friendly, in a old well maintained hotel with charm and character. Authentic old hotel. Recommended."

"Flott hotell og masse parkering. Helt perfekt for reiser til byene rundt. Bassengene inne og ute er helt nydelige, men det er ingen mat eller drikke tilgjengelig utenom måltidene. Ikke helt heldig om man ankommer sent. Store rom og veldig fint over alt "
