Graduation Weekend
The driveway was an adventure, steep but you've just gotta commit and go for it!! All wheel drive vehicles did best but front wheel drive did fine. Everyone in the group absolutely loved the house and talked about going back!! The porch was the best for spending time together and enjoying the view. Plenty of room for a large group not to feel cramped.

Family fun.
We enjoyed our stay at Altitude with Attitude. House was clean, overall. I just wish windows, fans and under couches were a concern to homeowners. Looking out the windows at that beautiful view would be so much better if dirt wasn’t all in the corners of the windows. Good amenities, good space, great view!

Siblings take on Harrahs!
Had a great time during the coldest weekend in January! The house was great and plenty of room to spread out on three floors. Siblings and spouses took on Cherokee with a concert and some gambling!

Great Cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy access to Smoky Mountain National Park and all the great little towns around Sylva. Wonderful views from both levels of the deck. Very quiet neighborhood. Cabin was very clean with nice amenities.

Beautiful scenery. Morning & night what a spectacular view.
The lodge was awesome! Plenty of room for everyone. Only problem was the driveway. We expected narrow one lane winding roads but getting up hill to park was a challenge. We were a group of seniors & the stairs to the basement & upstairs were tricky. (Only due to our age) i highly recommend this lodge to the tounger generation. The beds were extremely comfortable. Cant mention enough about the Mountain views.

Beautiful Get Away
Gorgeous house with gorgeous views. Very clean, spacious, well stocked. We would definitely go again, however with a 4 wheel drive vehicle only. Our mini van stuggled to get up the driveway.

My 10th anniversary completely ruined
Went there for the 10th anniversary and they completely ruined it, here’s how - 1. Code for the lock did not work, had to wait 30 minutes for the master key. 2. Hot tub didn’t work, called 3 times to fix, they promised to send someone but nobody showed up.

Poor maintenance
The house is great, needs maintenance. I notified Vacasa that the hot tub was not working Friday, the local people said they would send someone out, they never arrived. I contacted Vacasa 2 other times to dispatch repair, no one called or showed up. Clothes dryer is broken, keypad for entry does not work. Last time I rent a vacasa property, the third time I’ve had issues with Vacasa.

Hot tub didn't work.
Altitude with Attitude is a well laid out home for our group of three adult couples. The very steep drive leading to the house was a problem for a front-wheel drive SUV (warm weather and a dry driveway) but fortunately, we also had an AWD in our group so we shuttled luggage to the house. The house was clean inside but the outdoor spaces had significant pollen build up and spider webs in the windows but that was not a big deal. We were very disappointed that the hot tub did not work. We arrived as the housekeeper was completing her work and she told us that the hot tub had been acting up for some time and it should be replaced. Since we paid an extra fee for the hot tub, this was not acceptable. The service manager visited on Saturday, very quickly after my call, but there is most likely an issue with the hot tub control panel and could not be fixed. While VACASA has promised a refund of the hot tub fee, that does not replace the use of a hot tub for a 4 day weekend in the mountains. The views are spectacular and the weather was perfect, which added to the enjoyment of attending our friends' son's destination wedding at The Vineyard at Betty's Creek. What a wonderful wedding venue. Overall, the house, the weather, the wedding were all great experiences; just replace the hot tub please.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house! It was super clean, had everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen had a lot of utensils. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was amazing! And the views of the mountains are absolutely gorgeous . We would definitely recommend! Perfect bachelor getaway
I rented out the property for my best friend's bachelor party, and it was incredible! We barely wound up leaving to go anywhere. The hot tub and fire pit were great, with fantastic views. Roads were a little tricky with a big vehicle, but that's to be expected in the mountains, and it's thoroughly covered in the listing. All in all, we had a perfect weekend get-together here.

The cabin was very nice & the views were beautiful. It was clean, but did find childrens slippers under a chair. When we arrived the outside trash was almost full & we had to put our bags on top of the outside bin. Would recommend this cabin.

Beautiful cabin but too many bugs
Beautiful cabin with amazing views. The drive up is bit steep but we loved that. Communication with owner is great. Fast responding. Property is clean however we did have few things that were not enjoyable, too many bugs. It was not pleasant to see cockroaches on kitchen counter and bathrooms. Also, gas grill not working properly. We thought it was low on propane and we had to go get it ourselves since the owner was not able to get it to us until next day. After changing propane, grill still was not working properly. Could not use it and that was disappointing since we planned our dinner to be cooked on gas grill.

Stay away!
We had an issue with Vacasa in the recent past but were willing to give them a second chance. That turned out to be a mistake. 1. the main fireplace didn’t work upon arrival. Although they offered to come and check it out after 5:00pm, I am handy and was able to do the maintenance myself. I didn't plan on working on this vacation. 2. The Fire table on the deck required new propane tank. Again, as i am handy, I stole the tank form the grill and figured it out. 3. Several remotes needed batteries. 4. Air hockey table was broken 5. Video game console inoperable which was noted with a label which means someone knew about it and yet it is still listed in the amenities. 6. ROACH INFESTSTION (caused significant loss of food)! This ultimately led to leaving the property in the third evening and moving 47 minutes away into one of two properties that were offered. Neither were close to what we originally booked (i.e. not in mountains, no view, no hot tub, not in city we wanted to be in, etc.). This is the last time I will book a Vacasa managed home and VRBO should be looking into this.

Beautiful little spot on mountain!
Nice mountain cabin with a great view. Well appointed rooms and comfortable for family gatherings. Home is up a very steep road and should be navigated carefully. Road to home is one lane and again requires careful navigation! Trees have been cut down in back to ensure a better view but they need to be hauled off. Hot tub and sauna were a fun addition for our family!

The cabin is not far past Franklin not on into Sylva. The driveway is super steep. The cabin was as pictured and all amenities worked. We stayed there and cooked all wknd. Plenty of anything we needed to cook with.

Very clean with gorgeous views; however some advertised features were non-functional (hot tub, fire pit, and dishwasher unfortunately). The property manager was very responsive, but was unable to arrange repairs during our stay.

NC/TN Vacation
We had a great time regardless of some property problems. I would like to thank the Property Caretaker Shannon Welch of Vacasa for her dedication in helping us with some minor problems. Firstly I would warn any handicapped persons that this property is not handicap compatible. The bathtub is slippery with no handholds. The stairs should not be taken wearing only socks because they are slippery. Things not working: Garbage Disposal; Hot Tub; Fire Pit; Dish Washer; The BBQ Grill was extremely dirty with nothing available to clean it. Shannon come by and cleaned it for us. The Direct TV would not work and Shannon came by and got it working. Of all the cabins in the area this was the most difficult to get to, it was kind of scary for the auto passengers.

Beautiful Mountain Home but you dont get what is pictured
First, I will say the home was beautiful and had amazing views!! However, several big things make this trip not as excellent as just staying in beautiful place. One that driveway even with SUVs AWD is a beast. We were alittle worried a few times as our back tires spun several times trying to get up the 70 degree incline. So just be safe!! I actually got out of the SUV and walked up the extremely steep incline just so I wouldnt scare my husband while attempting the hill for the first go. Second, the wonderful amenities pictured and listed were not really available while we were there. First we attempted to turn on the firepit on the wonderful covered porch with an amazing view and it would light but would not stay lite. My husband is a HVAC man and knew exactly what was wrong with it and that it needed a $10 part. Second the Sauna would not heat up at all after many attempts, following directions etc. We called, and messaged the property manager the very next morning as we got there the night before somewhat late. They sent someone out around 3:30 and he immediately said "yeah we have had alot of trouble with the Sauna and will have to send an expert out." Well we knew that was not going to happen while we were there. Second he played with the firepit and said he would have to contact his supervisor to se of he could get the part for the firepit which he did not have. Well to say the least after another message was left no one showed up to get the firepit working. Also the air hockey and pingpong were great to have to play but they were falling apart. In conclusion, again even though yes this was a beautiful place my family and extended family had chosen this particular place because of the wonderful amenities as we knew everyone would have something to do. We knew we were not going to be leaving the house at all so we wanted everything we needed right there. We were extremely disappointed we couldnt drink wine by the fire like the picture nor use the Sauna to warm up. Plus their has only been one response one month later to just apologize for the inconveniences. No one followed up with us while we were there and not for 4 weeks. If looking for a beautiful view and plenty of space you got it but dont count on wine by the fire and using the Suana. And I hope the ping pong table or air hockey table dont fall on you while playing. Otherwise I still enjoyed my family!

Amazing Vacation
The most amazing vacation. My wife and I stayed for 4 days and everything was perfect. There were plenty of hiking trails, the cabin was clean and well stocked. We didn't want to leave. The hottub and wifi were great. Perfect secluded getaway and still just minutes from town. Staff helped every step of the way and if you need anything they'll take care of it.

This house was perfect for 8 adults. The bedrooms and baths gave everyone enough space and privacy. We loved the covered porches. They were perfect for the one rainy day we had. The views were amazing, the sunsets awesome. The management company was responsive to our needs and brought us propane after hours as the tanks were empty. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed sitting around it on the cool evenings. Location was great. Short drive to GSM Park and to Fontana Lake. Close to the casino also.

Lovely house
You can tell the owners take good care of their home. It is nicely appointed and has everything you could want. Great activities for kids. The only negatives are the directions to the cabin (go in the daytime and bring a good navigator) and the cleaning crews skills- or lack thereof. They apparently misread the schedule so the cabin wasn't cleaned before we arrived. They came but I wouldn't really say the cleaned. They changed the sheets and towels but didn't wipe anything down, vaccumm or dust. Didn't look like this lack of detail was just this time either. Would recommend the rental company do spot checks to ensure they are providing the services you are expecting. We brought Clorox wipes and found the vaccum and enjoyed the rest of the stay.

Our stay at this cabin was fantastic. It actually had more sleeping accommodations then expected. The thing that made me choose this cabin over others was the amount of seating in the family area. Other cabins did not offer this and its nice that a lot of friends can sit and enjoy the area together.

Even better expected!
When I looked at this Cabin online, I thought wow this is going to be a great weekend. When we got there, we were wowed. Seriously, every room in this cabin you are being blasted with this awesome view. Whether you are eating, sleeping, lounging by the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub; you cant get away from it. This cabin was well designed in its ability to help you unwind. You could stay the whole weekend just chilling around this beautiful cabin and be happy(we only stayed a weekend). We loved it.
