Most of the staff gave a warm smile and great service, but it would seem they only care for the downstairs area in regards to cleaning. Cleaning was left to one person to clean all the upstairs area but unfortunately he missed alot of areas, including behind toilet doors, outside of toilet bowls, toilet walls and all kitchen surfaces just to mention a few. The fact he has missed areas comes down to a lack of training/supervision from management.
I found it strange that there was a cash only policy for the dining menu given we live in a covid world now, I had to do a funds transfer to the owners account. But the food was generous and tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The main issue for me was the office door downstairs that kept slamming every time it was used when staff would enter and exit it. At first I thought it was other guests being inconsiderate of fellow guests, but I later discovered it to be the staff not caring for their sleeping guests upstairs.
My bedroom window was dirty and had no flyscreen also had no seal so I felt the cold air on my face through the night even though it was closed.
