Quiet location with good sized room. Overlooking open park land and lake from windows and balcony was a welcome bonus. A slightly hilly 10-15 minute walk to Macquarie Shopping Centre made entertainment, eating and shopping a breeze. Happy to recommend.

We stayed for one night and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the decor. The bathroom was well equipped and the lights over the basin wonderful for putting on makeup which is rare these days. Bed was very comfortable. We had room service dinner and the food was great. Would highly recommend.

Had room 116, right next linen room. Cleaners were so noisy about 0730. Which woke me and noise did not stop there, there was then couple of cleaners talking very loud and then singing happy birthday, so did not get to sleep in until check out time at 10.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was a good size and fairly clean. The curtains were so thin that they did not block out the external light which which was very bright. Also the towels were so thin that they were almost threadbare. Parking was also difficult.

We have stayed here on two occasions because of its close proximity to Macquarie University Hospital, which is within walking distance. The hotel is in a lovely location, is quiet and comfortable, has good bedding and has a high standard restaurant that we have enjoyed many times. The staff are welcoming, respectful and happy to attend to any issue.
