Badezimmer verschimmelt, Klimaanlage defekt, drei mal Zimmer gewechselt. Riesenbaustelle Harbour-Seite, Baustelle Straßenseite, Zimmer wurde erst auf Nachfrage gereinigt. Standard, wie über USB Handy aufladen war nicht möglich. Nie mehr dieses Hotel. Diese Hotel glich eher ein besseres Hostel. Total abgewohnt.

I found the rooms were outdated and old. Bathroom tap was loose and sink kept clogging up. Comfortable sleep though, bed was great. Great service.

I did like the fact I was in my room and in Just my boxer shorts and they gave someone else a key to my room. ( two men just walked in) . Then I went out and when I came back my room key did not work . Then I went out Saturday morning I came back and room key would not work again .whatever you do people do not stay here .

Property not kept up. Looks like it is going to be torn down soon as no money has been put into this property. We have been going to it since 2002 (22 yrs) & it’s in terrible condition.

The property is in need of renovation. The toilet seat was falling off, the tap moved sideways, the toilet paper holder was half off, there had obviously been a flood and the damage was obvious, shabby. The staff was lovely , the facilities mediocre.

Overall, my experience at this hotel was quite positive. The location is fabulous, offering breathtaking views from my room. Despite the slightly tired appearance of the lobby and hall, the room itself was clean and inviting. The bed provided exceptional comfort, and the powerful shower was a welcome treat after a long day. The reception staff stood out for their exceptional service and helpfulness, adding a personal touch to the stay. The local amenities were across the road, for that early morning coffee. Couldn’t give 1 star because staff are doing the best they can, but property needs to have a serious uplift. Everything is worn down badly. Views of the Darling Harbor are great, but the room is very tiny. Shower was leaking on the floor when the door was closed. The location and staff are good, but that’s the only thing that is good about this hotel.

We had a basic room but with an awesome view of the harbour. The buffet breakfast had a wide range of food options. Some of the pastries might have been a few days old and the coffee was a low quality.

Great stay!
I loved the location and my view of the harbor and Sydney skyline! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a market with drinks and snacks across the street and restaurants that stay open late nearby. I loved that I was close to all of the attractions, hop on bus stop, and the ferry that takes you to many popular locations! They don't overcharge like other hotels either! You can just sit in the window and enjoy the view if you don't feel like going out!

there are some interesting pubs, restaurants, and liquor shops near the hotel. The street near the hotel was full of young energy with young breaking dancers. It is great to have a walk around the hotel.

Nice little room. Comfortable bed. Found carpet dirty. My knees were black after kneeling down. Had trouble sleeping because there was banging from the next room which would shake my headboard which was against wall. I didn’t complain as figured the bathroom or doors were behind my wall. But was not nice to be jolted out of sleep by those sounds.

Convenient location for restaurants in Darling Harbour, and yet it is the nice and quieter part of Darling Harbour. The hotel bar is also very nice, with a nice view of Darling Harbour.

Overall an average stay. Buffet breakfast and bar was great, rooms and hallways were very dated, stains on the carpet, marks on the walls etc. Also could hear neighbouring rooms very clearly. You could also access all levels in the lift without scanning your card which I found was a safety issue. Very budget hotel needing some urgent love.

Dear Christine,Thank you for your review for ibis Sydney Darling Harbour. I do apologize if construction was an issue; construction is currently going ahead amongst the Darling Harbour prescient and surrounding CBD areas. The hotel has been in close contact with the corresponding companies and they have been advised that the impact on the hotel will be kept to a minimum. However we do have the ability to raise concerns with companies if we do receive feedback from any of our guests advising that their stay has been disrupted, so we thank you for your feedback and I will ensure it is passed on.Once again, thank your for choosing ibis Sydney Darling Harbour, and we hope to see you back soon.

I've stayed in IBIS hotels in the UK and there appeared to be more options for dinner choices and the staff were more friendly and welcoming.

On arrival we weren't able to check in as our room wasn't ready until 3pm - this was disappointing given we had been travelling all day! Our stay was okay but the room was quite run down and didn't seem overly clean.

Dear Stephanie,Thank you for choosing to stay with us at ibis Sydney Darling Harbour and for taking the time to provide this review.I can completely understand the disappointment in not having the room ready on your arrival after travelling all day. But please note, that early check in is subject to availability and guaranteed check in is from 3 pm. Since we were running on a full house the night prior, it was not possible to provide you with an early check in.That being said, we do provide guests the option of a guaranteed early check in if they wish to pay the additional check in fee by getting the room ready on a priority for them. We hope to get the opportunity to warmly welcome you back again soon where we hope to exceed your expectations.
