Swansea (5.5 miles) has a wide choice of shops, bars, and restaurants; the marina quarter – SA1 – is worth a visit. Soak up local history at the Gower Heritage Centre (3.5 miles) and Oystermouth Castle (3 miles), and explore lovely villages including Llangennith (13 miles) and Port Eynon (11 miles).
