«This is a lovely cottage and very cosy and warm. It's also near lots of attractions. It was very nice to be able to take my friend's dog who seemed to enjoy herself too. The main door was quite hard to lock and unlock as it's stiff but I broke my right wrist in August so that probably didn't help matters. The owners were very helpful. I would definitely recommend the cottage to others and I would certainly revisit myself.»

The only (very slight) downside is the restricted parking on the Homend - but there are a number of both short and long stay car parks within an easy walking distance. «The property location was perfect, and beautiful. Lovely local pub to walk to. The house was nicely decorated and had a homely feel. However the smell of damp dog was overwhelming, which didn’t suit us! Additionally the bedding smelt damp, and the towels of stale smoke. So it was necessary for me to do a couple of loads of washing during our stay. »

«We had a great short break at The Cottage. It has everything you could need, kitchen very well equipped, comfortable bed and thoughtful touches such as the automatic nightlights. The location is very peaceful. We were very lucky on our arrival day that the weather was amazing and we had a lovely time sitting in the pretty, tranquil garden watching birds and butterflies and then listening to an owl once it went dark.
