«We loved our remote cabin which overlooked the volcanic glacier and the glass design meant the sun streamed in. The beds were super comfortable and there was a small amount of tea and coffee available. The bedroom and shower worked very well. We found the cabin very handy to travel into the next village for food and took several trips out in the car around the waterfalls and hot springs. «We have been guests at the Afternoon Cottages twice. We stayed in #4 the first time and #5 the second time. They are mirror images of each other. Everything was clean and the location is perfect for seeing the Aurora as long as the sky is clear. Communication with the property manager was easy and effortless and on our first stay we even extended it by a day. I highly recommend the Afternoon Cottages.»

«The house is perfect for a family stay. The view is spectacular. We were able to see the Northern Lights from the back porch four nights! «Beautiful home, great location, loved the sauna. Only 2 of the 3 beds were made before our party arrive so we had to hunt for the extra bedding but non issue in the end. Great coffee, shower and heated floors awesome! Highly recommend »

«My family and I loved this cozy cottage. It is so well designed we loved our stay and it was so comfortable. Mindfully stocked with all the things we needed to settle right in. The beautiful large windows allowed us to rest our eyes on the beautiful peaceful Iceland landscape. It's so meditative and inspiring...we found ourselves just staring outside for periods of time.. getting lost in it. We loved our visits with the sheep too! We look forward to visitng again!»
