«It was pouring with rain when we arrived, so we really appreciated having the carport and entry cover, so we didn’t get soaked hauling our luggage in. Great for a 1nt stay on our way from Wellington to the Coromandel. Because of the weather the Coromandel didn’t happen, but that’s a whole other story! »

«Stayed at Vineyard Cottages for five nights with our 2 year old son. Had a fantastic stay, very much thanks to the warm hospitality and beautiful surroundings. The cabins have a nice outdoor terrace on the front and in the back, beds are comfortable and the small details like really nice bathroom amenities made the stay perfect. The The Hunting Lodge vineyard wine cellar and restaurant is just next door and offers great food and tastings. »

«Excellent stay, clean with a well stocked pantry and continental breakfast selection. Cottage is very close to the hosts property so bear this in mind if privacy is a concern.Beth was friendly and helpful, we didn’t get to meet her partner.So overall if you’re looking for a great base close to Whanganui and surrounds, can recommend Magnolia Cottage.»
