My room was not cleaned thoroughly. I found a half empty water bottle, a beer bottle cap and paper garbage behind one of the nightstands. The refrigerator door wouldn't close because the freezer had a giant block of ice formed in it that was pushing the door open. I reported this to the front desk clerk when I checked out and based on her response, I wasn't convinced that it would be taken care of. I was going to utilize the sauna, however, there was a large group of unsupervised young girls screaming and running in and out of the sauna and pool area. That was quite disappointing. I do have to say however, that I had dinner in the restaurant and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was great and reasonably priced. The breakfast that was provided was very good and included many hot prepared options.
My overall impression of the property is that it has the potential to be a great hotel and I believe that it was at one time, but it is not being managed well and it certainly is not being maintained sufficiently.
