This is a one bedroom open floorplan in a house next to another similar house in a tiny rural town on 89. The large back porch overlooks a flat canyon bottom used for agriculture. The view looks out on some agricultural storage, trees, and fences across the canyon. You can take a walk down in the canyon. In the evening I saw several deer. Farther down the canyon there's a spot with picnic tables and a fire ring, though I don't know who can use it. There's a gas insert in the corner fireplace that keeps the place warm enough. Also AC but we had no need of it in mid October. The kitchen has full size appliances and everything to cook with. The lighting is pretty dim, so I'd suggest a floor lamp if you want to read or like your lighting a little bright. We actually bought one at the WalMart in Ephraim. Manti and Ephraim are a few miles north, and Gunnison is a few miles south, but Sterling is too small for much except a convenience store. Palisades state park is nearby with a $15 entrance fee but the lake was almost nonexistent so we passed. There are giant LDS temples in Manti and Ephraim. If you want an extremely simple quiet place to spend some time this is it. The management made a good effort to dress the place up for Halloween, and overall the place has a Southwestern theme.

Perfect For Us!

This is a quaint, quiet and calming place to stay… and perfect for our family reunion camp-out at Paradise State Park… where we didn’t have to actually camp! Just a few minutes away from all the Paradise happenings, this is my new favorite hang-out when we’re in that neck of the woods!

Great place to stay

This property is in a nice and quiet area. It’s a pretty close drive to Ephraim and Gunnison so that was plus as well. Would stay again.

A Lovely Stay!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. We did have a minor booking/billing issue that Evolve Customer Service was very helpful in resolving! The casita was very clean and cute, had great views, and made for a great trip!

Great access to Outdoor activities

This was a nice quiet location, and central hub to access the Manti La Sal Mountains. We were able to drive our side-by-side directly from the condo right to the trails. I would definitely stay there again.

The owner was present during my stay and was very nice and accommodating. I would recommend more glasses and silverware be placed in the kitchen. House was clean and comfortable - beautiful views. i would definitely stay again.

Charming lithe place with a perfect view. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. I hope to stay at this terrific little room whenever i visit my mom. We really liked the fireplace. I sat on front of it to dry my hair after a shower.

Amazing and quiet

We absolutely loved our stay. The home was warm and cozy and very quiet. We slept amazing. Kitchen was perfect with everything we needed. Bathroom had a wall heater that kept showers cozy since it was freezing outside. Bedroom was fully equipped with lots of blankets. Washer and dryer were very convenient for traveling. We will deff stay again the next time we come to Utah.

4-Wheeling Trip

The property was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The place was roomy and we were able to host others in our group for a couple of meals with ease. Appliances were clean and in good condition. Would suggest better lighting in the living/kitchen area.

Perfect option for palisades lake getaway

We camped two days at palisades lake state park then happily enjoyed the comfort of this casita for two more nights while going back to meet with family at the lake each day. It was only about 5 minutes away. We used the air mattress for our teens and the bed was comfy. Having a washer and dryer were super handy and the kitchen accommodations were great. Convenient, clean and cozy. Highly recommend if you plan to visit manti area and/or palisades lake state park.

This property is located 1/2 block from Skyline ATV/UTV rentals. You can access the Arapeen trail system right from this property. The place feels like a cabin, but it's not up in the mountains. It's really cute! The owner is super nice and accomodating. We will be back!
