Victorian Under the Gondola: Main House

This meticulously restored 7-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom home, originally transported from Lyons, Kansas to Steamboat Springs in 1991, offers a one-of-a-kind stay for up to 16 guests. Nestled directly beneath the Steamboat Gondola, it`s an ideal retreat for ski enthusiasts and mountain lovers alike.​

The Victorian boasts four stories of thoughtfully designed spaces. The lower level is an entertainment haven, featuring a game room with a pool table, a wet bar, and a spacious theater perfect for movie nights. A guest suite with a private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living area w/ a pull out couch offers additional privacy and convenience.

On the main level, the gourmet chef`s kitchen with granite countertops and a large dining area is ideal for preparing and sharing meals. Relax in the living room by the gas fireplace adorned with a Tiffany mantle, or play a tune on the Steinway piano. This floor also features a bedroom with an en-suite bath, a boot dryer room, and an additional half bath for added convenience.

The second floor houses two stunning master suites, one with a gas fireplace and clawfoot tub, and the other with a private patio offering breathtaking mountain views. A den with a pull-out sleeper sofa and an office with a roll-top desk complete this level.

The third floor is a cozy retreat with a library, a kid`s TV and game area, and two additional bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.

Guests will have access to the full house. Please note that there is a separate apartment located above the garage that may be rented out to other guests. If this is the case, the hot tub may be shared with others and there may be additional cars in the driveway.
