The two women at the front desk were excellent. Unfortunately that was about the only nice thing I can say. First room I was in smelled like smoke. There were pipes sticking out of the wall and old balloons tied to the fire sprinkler head. Second room didn’t smell. Looks like they are redoing, but with very poor workmanship. Only just passably clean. Sweeping the trash off the bathroom floor would have been nice. Right over the highway (95) and very loud. If I had the heater on, that was so loud it did block out the traffic. The pool room, which is why I chose here, was filled with all the boxes of things for the refurbishment, so could not use that. Breakfast was lack luster and tasteless. Sausage gravy in stead of actual sausages or bacon. Ugh! Then at 5:21a.m. Someone tried to open the door. Probably? Just a mistake? But scary non the less. No more sleep for me. I DEFINITELY do not recommend this hotel! Oh, and they charge you an extra $3.50 to park your car in the lot!😡
