The room was nice but poorly lit. For instance, the desk area had no lighting above or near it, made it almost impossible to work there.
The staff were pleasant, but maybe not the most professional that I've experienced. That means that many times they were gathered at the reception area (reception staff, cleaning staff etc) laughing and joking with each other. That's ok, but maybe in the staff area, not in reception!
Also, we noticed somebody who appeared to work, or help at the hotel ask about providing grooming services for our dog, again, not overly professional.
Finally, it was snowing heavily and yet no snow had been cleared. Even at the entrance to the busy main road where modest shoveling would have helped a lot. We have an AWD SUV and got stuck by one exit and had to get it out of that situation to try the entrance, as an exit. Not ideal and I thought for what the hotel costs these points should be addressed.
