The residence is private as it is at the end of a street, which is nice for pet owners. One of our favorite aspects of the house was the billiards table. The house was in good condition and the remodels were a nice touch to feel more at-home. The house felt like it was a part-time residence for the owner, not a full-time rental property - some of the sheets, towels, floor mats had stains and looked to be well-used. That said, the house and all of the sheets, towels, mats were definitely clean and sanitary so it was not an issue for us to use the items. The host responded promptly to all messages I sent. The only critique I have is that the furniture (night stands, bed frame, bathroom sink drawers) is cheaply made and didn't function smoothly. It was no big deal for us; we just didn't use the drawers for our clothes, and the bed frame didn't impact our sleep. The critique is just an observation, not a complaint. We stayed 10 nights, 4 people and 2 dogs - overall, I'd give the experience an 9/10. The only reason to deduct one point in the rating is that for the price of the stay, I would've have liked the furniture to be more functional.I will definitely consider this property again wheny family visits St Pete for our annual trip. Thank you to the host!
