    The Space:

    Visit Captain's Cove and experience all the creature comforts this quaint vacation gem has to offer. The condo itself is laden with niceties, highlighted by its huge balcony with views of the natural landscape and the lovely Intracoastal Waterway. The spacious open floor plan is tastefully decorated and features a fully equipped kitchen, dining table for four, and living area complete with a mounted flatscreen television. Both bedrooms are welcoming and cheerful with a king-size bed in the main bedroom and a queen in the second bedroom. The main suite is extremely roomy and has an adjoining bathroom with a walk-in shower.



    WHAT'S NEARBY

    The Captain's Cove Complex with its 27 waterfront condos is conveniently located in Indian Shores, Florida. It is a three-minute walk to award-winning beaches featuring emerald turquoise waters and sugary sand beaches. This property overlooks the Intracoastal, teeming with activity. You'll see everything from fishermen to dolphins and speed boats to blue herons. The complex sits back off of Gulf Boulevard giving it a more private and quiet feeling. They were built in 2002 making them one of the newer complexes in Indian Shores. You will enjoy the private tropical heated pool with guest baths and the private fishing pier and dock.

Really nice, spacious, loved the large outdoor balcony, comfortable beds, so many kitchen essentials. Had everything we could’ve needed. Will be making it our regular spot in Indian Shores.

Condo was just as pictured, clean, in a great location and the bed was so comfortable. We had wished we booked a few more nights. We enjoyed the heated pool too.

We (3 sisters) enjoyed our time at this condo on the Florida Intracoastal.Pros: Great location; literally a few minutes walk to a beach access.Had all the amenities we needed in the home, including a washer and dryer.Awesome managers; quick to reply to our concerns and questions.Loved eating breakfast out on the balcony and walking to the pier.The parking under the building was perfect for our two cars; helped with keeping us dry when it stormed while we were packing up. Cons: Unfortunately, the walls and ceiling of this unit did not prevent sound from other units.Salt water pool not our favorite; we prefer chlorine.Bathrooms were clean, but could use some updating. Note that there are 13 fairly steep stairs up to this unit.

This was a fabulous place everything was great . My son and I were walking in the parking lot and an old man in a blue suv stopped us and ask if he could help us. We were like no we are staying here and he looked at me and said I was talking to the boy. Can I help you ? I told him to go on before I called the police. Didn't appreciate that at all. He said he was on some board. Just rude.

Indian Shores February 2024 Stay

This is a clean and nicely updated condo with close walking access to the beach and all the space and amenities for a small family with two bedrooms and two baths. We'd stay here again

Over the years we have stayed in various condo's in the area and especially in Captains Cove. This one is one of the best. Location perfect for us.

Great location, very close to beach, balcony view of intercoastal. Spacious 2 bdr 2bth. We have stayed in Indain Shores many times, first time at Captains Cove and we loved it!

Great location and lots of space!

Had a great stay....only complaint was the weather! Rained on us for the first couple of days but great after that. Location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance.

Indian Shores - Great Visit

We stayed at this location for a little over a week. It was the perfect spot. The beaches were not overcrowded. The condo was great - only complaint was that the beds were uncomfortable and you can hear every step the upstairs neighbors take up the stairs. Definitely recommend!

Captians Cove 304 Wonderful apartment and locatio

Having used TeemingVR previously I was more than happy to book another apartment on the Gulf Coast through them. Captains Cove 304 was a wonderful apartment in a great location. The apartment was very spacious and had obviously recently been thoroughly refurbished. The location was great giving easy access to the beach and offering great opportunities to view the wildlife on/in the Intercoastal Waterway from the balcony and the dock.

Great location close to everything but not crowded

We had a lovely stay at this condo, with the beach across the street, pool access and close to restaurants and shops, yet not as crowded as Clearwater. We visited Tampa's Aquarium, the Weedon Island Preserve, and the Clear Water Pier 60. The apartment has everything you need with a beautiful modern decor. The only thing that I would add, specially necessary for flying guests would be a well functioning beach umbrella. We would definitely recommend it!

Incredible experience.

We went in thinking it was gonna be like any other room, much to our surprise it exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was fully stock with the proper equipment for cooking, there were a number of extra amenities in the rooms such as towels, and even a Wii to provide an extra source of entertainment. Overall the room was incredible and the location was outstanding. We will gladly return as soon as we can and we encourage others to check out this specific location.

Walking Indian Shores

The property suited our needs we loved the location. Never stayed so close to the ocean before. My husband and I walked the beach often and then loved how you could then enjoy a restaurant and walk the beach home. We did have some noisy neighbors upstairs with heavy foot fall, but we realize this may be what condo rental would be like. Thanks for a nice get away. Would book again but perhaps stay on the top floor if possible.

Great value for your money.

Spotless. Exactly as portrayed. Beautiful view. Great access to beach. Grouper sandwich at Dog and Parot was fantastic (although place lacked atmosphere). Please be aware that you can hear neighbors... including going up and down the stairs. All in all a great value for your money. We would definitely go back.

Great Spot to relax!

We loved this property and the view. We met a great Blue Heron on the dock we affectionately named Harry who would fly in and hang out about a foot away from us when we were boat watching. The pool was so relaxing and kept very clean. We had some minor issues (smoke detector beeping) but the number to call was easily found and was taken care of promptly. The kitchen was well stocked to make dinners when we ate at the condo. I loved having a wagon, beachtowels, beachchairs to use to go to the beach. We loved it here!

Extremely nicely done property

I thought the property was very nicely furnished and outfitted with all the little things that make a place great. Having the beach chairs, PAM, salt and pepper even the Keurig coffee maker was very thoughtful. Place was extremely clean, was easy to live in, close to many things and easy walk to the beach. The kids (young adults) had fun walking, swimming in the pool and going to the beach. Definitely repeatable for longer period. Only suggestion for (I guess) the complex is a place to rinse your feet off after being on the beach.
