Overall this was a decent place to stay. The place was clean, the staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was top notch. There are a lot of quirks that come with a history structure, I get that, but there were a lot of obvious upkeep shot cuts that detracted for its potential charm. For example, when painting in the bathroom, they simply painted around the sink and toilet, leaving a “ring” of the old paint color around it. Same for along the ceiling and trim. The blinds were not cut to fit the windows so it made it impossible to truly close them. They also didn’t have curtains. So when the sun came up, we did too (not by choice). Would I stay here again? Probably.
