Dette er en av de originale hyttene som ligger i et rolig nabolag i Redington Shores. Det er oppdatert med moderne, moderne møbler. Du finner alt du trenger i dette fullt møblerte, velutstyrte enfamiliehuset på 800 kvadratmeter. Det ligger bare noen skritt fra en rolig hvit sandstrand. Lokalbefolkningen anser det som sin "skjulte perle". Eieren bor i nabolaget og er bare en samtale eller tekst unna.

The Castaway Cottage har 2 soverom, 1. 5 bad. Hovedsoverommet har en king size-seng, TV og et halvt bad. Det andre soverommet har en queensize-seng med TV. Stuen har en futon i full størrelse, seksjonssofa og TV. Kjøkkenet er utstyrt med alt du trenger for å nyte måltider hjemme. Men hvis du foretrekker å dra ut, har vi flere lokale restauranter å prøve mens du er her. Vaskemaskin og tørketrommel, Scotsman frittstående ismaskin, grill er på eiendommen. En utendørs dusj er plassert ved siden av døren for å skylle av etter en dag på stranden. Rikelig med parkering på stedet for 3 biler.

We absolutely loved our stay in the She‑shed. The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and impressively well‑stocked with everything from cookware to cleaning essentials. It felt freshly updated and genuinely cared for.Mary Beth was a fantastic host! She was proactive, thoughtful, and communicative from start to finish. She checked in frequently to make sure everything was set for our arrival and perfect during our stay, making our experience feel seamless.The real delight was the unapologetically girlie aesthetic. Every corner was pink, sparkly, playful, and so thoughtfully curated that it felt like stepping into a whimsical little world. We kept discovering charming surprises, including multiple styles of disco balls tucked throughout the space, and it made the stay even more fun.Highly recommend for a girls’ getaway or anyone who could use a joyful, pink‑themed escape.

Super cute little house right next to the beach! Super easy beach access nearby. Outside shower was really helpful in cleaning off too. The house was stocked with basic needs like dish soap and laundry pods. A variety of beach items are also available for use. Small but very cute! Theme was done very well.

First, Mary Beth is AMAZING just like her She Shed. She is the hostess with the mostest! I came down for my birthday this year and she made my stay extra special. I have been coming to the area from NC for over 5 years and I will only be staying here now. She makes it feel like home on the beach. Everything is as advertised but better.. booking, location, parking, beach access, cleanliness is perfect. The She Shed is not only for the girls girl but EVERYONE. We loved it so much that I was already booking our September trip before we checked out to make sure we could stay again.

Beautiful little cottage house

The house was perfect for myself, husband, and two little boys. The house had a pack n play, beach toys, and wagon for use. Being so close to the beach access was also a huge plus. Great walking distance to multiple places. Would definitely stay again!

Spring Getaway

The Castaway Cottage is beautifully appointed, it is stocked with many extras, the outside living space is extremely pleasant, the beds are comfortable and it is very clean and well kept. The neighborhood community is friendly and the owner, MaryBeth, is quite hospitable, she is so kind, she is easy to work with and she is very accommodating. The sunsets in the evening were a delight and they were so easily accessible with the beach only a short walk away. My family and I are already planning a repeat stay on account of how much we enjoyed our time at the Castaway Cottage.

Spring Break, 2024

Our stay in this cottage was great. Pictures were accurate and MaryBeth was great in her communications and ensuring we had everything we needed. We stayed over Easter weekend and hosted Easter Dinner with our friends and family that were also there for the week. MaryBeth made sure I had the crock pot I needed and the kitchen was full with anything you would ever need to provide a large meal. I am a nurse, so I am critical of the cleanliness of any place I stay, it would have to be spotless for me to give a high rating in this area. Only suggestion I would give is to consider stocking the home with a higher grade toilet paper. The location is perfect with just a very short walk to the beach and included with the home is all the essentials to make it easy to set up shop on the beach every day. Thank you MaryBeth for your hospitality

Fabulous place to stay!

Mary Beth was the BEST hostess we've ever encountered. She thought of absolutely everything we would need for our vacation - and then some. The place was well stocked with all you need - from shampoo, soap, sunscreen, paper goods, laundry soap, even condiments. She even left a goodie basket. Her attention to detail was amazing and we will definitely be back again next year. If you're looking for a place that is very close to the beach (just a few houses away), as well as close to local restaurants, this is the place for you. I highly recommend Castaway Cottage!

Our host was amazing and her place was perfect. She was available for questions and checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. There were many extras including spices for cooking, well stocked with pans, dishes and every utensil you could need. Even had a welcome basket with snacks and coffee. Very short walk to the beach and great restaurants within walking distance. Great stay!!!

Home Away from Home !

I Rent by the Month, this place was perfect with all the comforts of home. The house is located close to the beach and the surrounding area is safe as well as convenient with restaurants and a wonderful fish store just walking distance from the house. Truly amazing host, beautiful and well stocked beach cottage

The place was clean and well stocked with your everyday needs. There were even bandaids when needed. The host’s communication was amazing and she left a basket full of goodies for our family. The attention to detail and time spent preparing this place is very apparent and was greatly appreciated. My kids absolutely enjoyed the popcorn while watching movies at night. The beach is steps away, the beach access is on the same street! The beach was gorgeous and not crowded, just what our family was looking for. The nights were so peaceful here too. We will definitely be back. Comfortable for two adults, a teen and younger child. Our youngest really enjoyed all the games she keeps in the closet.

Amazing Stay

This was our first VRBO stay. MaryBeth was an among host she has thought of the simplest things like tape. The finer details are noticeable in this cutely decorated little bungalow. The house sits in a quiet little neighborhood with wonderful access to the beach. The area of Redington Shores is beautiful. We had great meals near by. We will be back to the area and will stay here again.

Fantastic Cottage

Our stay at this adorable cottage was exceptional!! It is tastefully decorated and comes with all of the amenities you could need and then some. We felt right at home for this stay, which is just what my family needed. Loved that the cottage is so close to the beach and what’s even better is the access is a bit private, although public, that there were not the crowds you would encounter at Clearwater or St. Pete beaches. The host, MaryBeth, is very friendly and caring. She even texted mid-stay to see if we needed anything. We all agreed that this is definitely a place we would stay again!

Vrbo Bar Set HIGH

We were absolutely blow away by Mary Beth and Castaway Cottage!! Our first Vrbo experience definitely spoiled us. Everything that we would need during our stay was already there but Mary Beth checked in on us to see if we needed anything! Wonderful Trip!

The best beach getaway

My husband and I wanted to surprise my dad with a special beach getaway and MaryBeth made that dream a reality! Her beach cottage was perfect for relaxing, walks to the beach, and enjoying great local restaurants! The home is clean, so walkable, and the perfect retreat. She made the stay extra special for each of us and was so helpful the entire time. If you’re looking for a place to go to leave the stress behind and forget all your worries, this is it. Best mini vacation ever

The cottage was a great choice for my family! We had a great time just relaxing all weekend at the cottage and down at the beach. We loved that Marybeth had all the beach supplies that we needed and that the beach was just a short walk away. The welcome snacks were definitely a treat after traveling and a quick zoo trip before we got to the cottage. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. It was nice to have the outdoor shower to rinse off in before going into the house after being on the beach. We will definitely be back at some point!
