«An excellent boutique hotel perfectly located for walking to the many places to visit in Mdina and Rabat. Very close to the main bus stops and restaurants. The hotel is in a grand old building, fully and tastefully modernised inside. Our room was spacious and well appointed. And spotlessly clean. «Small, boutique hotel delightfully located within the ancient walled city of Mdina. The city is very quiet after 7pm. Only a couple of hotels inside. A few restaurants no bars after 7 in March which makes it so peaceful. The ancient narrow lanes of Rabat are 5 minutes outside of the walls and have plenty of eating/drinking places open late. «Terrible parking. Hard to find. Room was clean but there was no mirror to do your hair. Can’t use the outlet in the bathroom so had try to blow dry and curl my hair out in the bedroom area with a make up mirror I had. No attention to detail in the room. Very noisy, could hear every motorbike roaring up the highway. »

«1. No lift for 2nd floor units, narrow stairs to carry heavy luggage. 2. Too narrow doors to move freely in and out of rooms 3. First two nights Airconditioning was controlled by the owner and it was put to off or not working, suffered in heat after heated email/text , they switched it ON. 4. Breakfast has very specific timings per room , need to visit only in that 30 min window for breakfast. 5. Near to Airport, and near by general shops and bustop. «This was a lovely hotel, luxurious room with nice bed, extra pillows, robes, quality soaps and great view. The breakfast was really good. Easy access for swimming. Only issue was that the reception was not open when we arrived and there was no way into the hotel. The hotel needs to have a way of buzzing the reception person from outside and also from the room for contact. »
