Takk for et supert opphold
Et kjempefint opphold på Dolmen hotell med våre to barn på 1 og 4 år. De som jobbet i resepsjonen var veldig serviceinnstilt og behjelpelige. Et badeparadis for store og små med fire basseng og mulighet for bading i havet fra både stranda og steinene. Også mye utvalg av god mat på hotellet☺️ Butikken på hotellet er relativt dyr, men det er mange butikker i området rundt☺️ De nyere rommene hadde flere typer stikkontakter, slik at du ikke trenger adapter, men vårt rom var litt eldre, så her var det kun en kontakt vi kunne bruke uten adapter. Husk å ta med dette i tilfelle☺️👍 generelt sett veldig fornøyde!

Topp hotell med mange tilbud
Flott hotell med fin beliggenhet. Egen strand og mange bassenget både på stranda og på hotellet. God frokost og også flott middagsbuffe. Veldig vennlige og serviceminded betjening. Topp opphold.

Levde ikke opp til forventningene.
Bilder fra hjemmesiden stemte ikke overens, vi bestilte suite for at vi skulle ha litt ekstra plass når vi først hadde en barnefri ferieuke. Tørr å påstå at jeg har bodd på standardrom som har vært større. Store deler av tilbudene utendørs på hotellet var også ikke åpnet da vi var der (medio mai), noe som kanskje burde gått (tydelig) frem ved reserveringen, dette var også noe som fikk oss til å gå for dette hotellet, så dette dro veldig ned. Det er fint for de som velger å ha leiebil på Malta, da et p-hus var nabo til hotellet og hotellet kunne justere gyldigheten på p-billetten for deg. Ellers var det et trivelig nærområde som hadde det meste for en hver smak.

Ok stay in Buggiba for the price.
Got a really old and bad room when checked in. It was located in the old wing and smelled. Got another, new room second day. The facilities is good and the location in Buggiba is good. Bus from airport stops outside the hotel and the bus terminal is 2 min walk. Spa services are great and affordable. Breakfast is a bit boring and not inspiring. Not much to choose and the orange juice is watered out. This is a 3 star hotel overall not considering the facilities. The reception staff needs to be educated. They do not make sure to help the next in line and just stand behind the desk and look busy without telling you “I’ll be right with you”. A lot of rude guest here that doesn’t know what a queue is. The reception sees them cut in line without telling them there is a queue. If you get a low price then this is a good stay. If not, do check st. Julian or Valletta. A bit more lively towns. Buggiba has a lot of elderly tourists.

Fint hotell
Ok hotell, men vi var på siste etasje som var styggere enn andre...gym som ikke funket, men etter å ha samtale med manager fikk vi gratis lunsj og tilgang til gym på nabo hotellet så det var bra. Litt misfornøyd med indoor pool som var litt kaldt, spesielt i jaccuzi - ikke mye bobler der. Dame sjef (mest sannsynligvis) fra spa oppfatet vi som uhyggelig, smilte ikke mye og så ikke i øynene mens hun pratet med oss. Noen folk i restauranten smilte ikke heller, mens de som ventet ved inngang var veldig hyggelige :) Middag var bra, god seleksjon, men alltid samme på frokost som var litt skuffende - men veeeeldig godt brød, yumm! Ellers er vi ganske fornøyd med hotellet :) og ja, siste ting er at man får to enkelte senger som går fra hverandre når man sover eller gjør andre ting ;) som var litt irriterende selv om vi fikk overmadrass, skulle vi ønske at vi fikk dobbeltseng.

Likte å bo på dette hotellet, men veldig anonymt. Ikke en plass som viser at du bor på Dolmen, så vanskelig å finne fram til egenhånd om du ikke har Google Maps. Fin hotell og fine rom. Fin plass å bo på i Bugibba. Veldig familieorientert plass, og hotellet ligger rett ved stranda.

It's very average
So, I wasn't the most impressed with this resort hotel. I deem it very average, some will be pissed, some will be very happy. We were there for 12 days in july, for the record. Seaview room with a double and a sofa bed for the 3 of us. Room was nice, though I'm not a fan of glass doors with a big gap as bathroom doors. Breakfast buffet was ok, but not really any better than that. Some nice pastries, but juices tasted horrible. Room maid Marina was great. Like a ray of sunshine every day, and her cleaning worked around us guests' schedule, not the other way around. I hope you got your tip envelope, Marina. Front desk people were good, tried to help where they could. Location is good in Qawra, You can jump in the sea from the hotel, or walk 100 yards to the bus station to go sightseeing. They have a seaside restaurant that faces the sea and sunset, very nice location in the hotel. Now, what i did NOT like: Poor management with no courage to manage areas of responsibility Sunbeds occupied by guest who aren't present (dumped their towels, hotel does nothing) Unprofessional staff in some places Mediocre restaurant food and breakfast Would not recommend.

The hotel had recently been taken over by Double Tree Hilton who have commenced some significant improvement works to improve the hotel and its facilities. As a result some services were unavailable including the spa and beach access. The works did not significantly impact on our holiday and enjoyment. The staff are amazing, Egeman on reception was very helpful and the staff in the two restaurants and bar were wonderful too. these included Rabi, Lorrenzo, Darren, Kyra, Jason, Ismail, Christine, Deosalyn and Marina. The breakfast offer was excellent, the cakes were delicious, lunchtime snacks / meals were lovely and the evening meals were great too. Looking forward to our next visit.

Notre logement etait vaste et très bien pourvu. Deux chambres, deux salles de bain, une terrasse, une vue mer. Que demander de plus. Le perit déjeuner très copieux et varié. 2 piscines extérieures, une piscine interieur, 3 restaurants pour varier les plaisirs. Un hôtel où l'on se sent bien.

The gym equipment was very old & rusted. We had a sea view suite. Although spacious, the furniture was cheap & plain. Not even any pictures on the wall. When we asked for extra towels, housekeeping informed us we were only allowed 2! When we requested an iron & ironing board, the one we received was broken. A disappointing stay for someone who is Maltese!

Great place & staff
Really lovely room and view. Great that the sun didn’t come into the room due to the way it’s been built. Staff throughout the complexed were lovely and couldn’t do enough. The spa is also lovely. Thank you dolmen for making my stay perfect and much improved compared to my previous hotel!

Just felt underwhelming compared to what other reviews and the website said/shown. We left and got another hotel after one night. Sadly lost our on that money but we're much happier at the second hotel.

The property is not really a 4 star.I would put it down to the higher end of 3 star. The property has this private beach area called Amazona.The hotel residents can use the sunbeds free but have to pay €40 for the Balinese beds which is daylight robbery given youhave already paid to stay at the hotel to use their facilities.This is not clear on their website. The bathrobes are on request but also charged at €5 per robe for duration of stay to cover cleaning costs!!!!what is the difference between washing towels and robes!!!everything is extra!!! Extra!!! Not good for a 4 star hotel.

Wir waren insgesamt 10 Tage in dem Hotel und hatten alles in allem einen guten Aufenthalt. Zu unserer Anreise haben wir ein Zimmer zugewiesen das alt und heruntergekommen war ( streifen an der wand, eine alte Couch die fast auseinandergefallen ist). Ein Zimmer was unter keinen Umständen ein weiterer Gast zugeteilt werden sollte - meiner Meinung nach. Unsere Beschwerde an der Rezeption wurde allerdings ernstgenommen und wir haben letztendlich ein gutes, modernes und sauberes Zimmer zugeteilt bekommen. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders gut war der private Zugang zum Wasser und zahlreiche Pools. Wir hatten sowohl am Wasser als auch am Pool nie Probleme zwei freie Liegen zu finden. Das Frühstück war qualititativ nur okay. Es gibt Kaffee aus dem Automaten, Formfleisch, Früchte und Obst und Müsli etc. Wie gesagt, alles in einer normalen Qualität eines kontinentalen Frühstücks und in der Menge ausreichend. Abwechslung gibt es leider keine, das heißt es gibt jeden Morgen exakt das gleiche Frühstück. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt gut. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Das Personal war freundlich und das Hotel war sauber. Ich finde aber das man für den Preis mehr erwarten könnte.

Hôtel extrêmement bruyant, on entend les porte s des chambres claquer à toute heure du jour ou de la nuit. Service à la clientèle horrible, nous ne nous sommes pas du tout sentis les bienvenus . Le matin de notre départ, d’accord il était très tôt, lors du checkout le réceptionniste n’a même pas eu la gentillesse de dire bonjour et de nous demander comment était notre séjour. Il y a quelques bon points comme la nourriture, si Vous êtes carnivore et la plage privée ou la faune marine est très jolie.
