We couldn't be happier with Hotel Monopol. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is beautiful! Conveniently located 1 block away from the Tram that takes you directly up Corviglia (One of the two Main Ski Mountains in St. Moritz). You can rent and store Ski's and Boots on the mountain in Corviglia, or walk a block from Art Boutique Hotel {AKA Hotel Monopol} and rent at Ender Sports). Monopol has a room to store your ski's and poles with boot warmers if you choose the latter. The 6th Floor Sky bar is very comfortable, with great service, a wonderful menu and drinks and Views of the Alps that can't be beat. Our kids hung out in the 6th floor's Hot Tub (Same Views) while we snacked at the bar. There is also a small fitness room and a Spa (My wife had a wonderful massage) on the 6th Fl. The first floor has a lounge area you can relax in as well as an enclosed room for smoking Cigars (The smoke is vented directly outside and can't be smelled in the lounge area). There happens to be a Davidoff next door to Monopol! The main resteraunt is open for Buffet breakfast (Excellent food and excellent service) as well as for Dinner (Also, excellent food and service). There is also a Kids place on the 1st floor with games for the kids. I drove in from Milan and had some issues with my rental car and the staff went above and beyond arranging the fix while I ski'd. Awesome!!

Great hotel
The location was very convenient and close to every places. Room was enough spaces and bathroom was very clean with 2 sinks. And breakfast was good quality with delicious foods. If I visit St. Moriz next time, I definitely visit this hotel again!

My queries sent online before I arrived were promptly responded to by Christian, the front office manager, and Sarah, working in the front office. They arranged for complimentary pickup to and from the train station; so much so I don’t have to handle my luggage the moment I was picked up. At check in, Christian offered me a welcome drink (a glass of Prosecco) and Sarah showed me the facilities of the hotel. The service was impeccable, so much so I didn’t want to head out after check in and stayed in to enjoy the spa and gourmet dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Love the comfortable bed and amazing pillows in the room, and of course, the fantastic location next to the lake with hiking trails, good restaurants, shops and galleries. After I checked out, I discovered my train to the airport was cancelled and had to take an earlier train to make it in time to the Zurich airport. Instead of waiting for the hotel driver, Christian personally drove me to the train station so I will make it in time. I was very well taken care of and felt so pampered that I highly recommend this to be your choice when you visit St. Moritz.

Very warm reception with a complimentary drink and tour of the hotel property. Very comfortable bed with big soft pillows and duvet. Washroom excellent condition with tile and fixtures. Sky Bar at hotel was great for drinks and snacks.

Great Experience, Clean and Newly Renovated Property with a great staff that was always willing to assist. Property was located in a well centralized location to many parts of St. Moritz. <5 min walk to Corviglia lift with ski equipment.

Property is an excellent location right in The Central square . Rooms were large with a proper bed for my daughter . Jr Suite was room we stayed in . Breakfast was good , fresh omelet . Negatives are if you hiring a car you should think about giving up the car . As the hotel is in a pedestrian zone . So they give u special access to come up to hotel and then take your car to park at a nearby parking lot . U don’t really see your car the whole trip as you get free passes for public transport . Housekeeping was quite terrible , didn’t change linen even on asking , floor was dirty post servicing . Room mini bar fridge was not working , excuses such as this to keep things fresh not cool , too many things inside . All excuses were not smart , it’s a mini bar fridge not a cooler box . Bar tender refused to give ice . Room service is 15 chf for ice . Bit strange . Give every room an ice pail and put a machine in the gym . Espresso 6 coffee capsules provided at beginning of stay . They are not refreshed throughout the stay . Need to pay to buy capsule . Makes no sense for a luxury hotel . Overall excellent room , excellent location , front office staff are very good . Would stay again . Little niggles need to be sorted

Great hotel next to ski lift
Excellent hotel. 2 mins walk to the ski lift. Reception amazing - all requests immediately satisfied - sauna, jacuzzi made available at request, breakfast good, restaurant good. I also got an upgrade to a larger room and a welcoming drink. Nothing to fault.
