Lovely old world charm
This was my second visit to The Inn at Perry Cabin. It was every bit as lovely as the first time. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a terrific water view. The gas fireplace and comfy chairs were especially inviting. We were there to visit the beautifully designed Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad museum and state park in nearby church creek as well as the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum next door. We were supposed to only stay one night but decided to stay another because it was so relaxing and peaceful. We will definitely come back with friends & family and take full advantage of all the things you can do right there at the Inn. There are boating opportunities, a spa, bocce, two restaurants and more.

Absolutely fantastic stay here and can't wait to come back. The staff handles every single thing you could ever ask for and more. I had to get documents signed and handled and they were able to help me every step of the way. From transportation to asking directions and places to go throughout our stay we had a remarkable time! The historic and regal setting on the edge of the Chesapeake Bay, at the edge of a quaint victorian era village, is beautiful and luxurious. It's like a cruise experience without getting underway. The kitchens are creative and serve quality, farm to table fare, but some may be looking for less imagination and more down-home tastes in selections and seasonings. The beds are so high that short or elderly may have difficulty ascending into bed, but the rooms and grounds are lush and relaxing. Staff from top to bottom are most accomodating.

Clean, well restored inn. Room was small but worked fine for us. Pool area was clean, well stocked and pool boys were always ready to help. Food at both the pub and Stars was good. Reservations recommended for Stars.

The Inn at Perry Cabin's was beautiful, welcoming and relaxing! We loved everything about our stay - the location is perfect, the grounds are lovely, staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming, and so much to do just on site. Beautiful property, very close to downtown (walkable). The staff were wonderful! Nice amount of activities. The food and cocktails were amazing (I would go back for the chocolate brownie and don’t give up the ship cocktail alone!)

Beautiful, but so very, very loud
This is a beautiful inn with excellent service, but the walls are very very thin. We could hear conversations on both side word for work (Theo, don't make me raise my voice at you) and tons of thumping from above. Had the noise not settled down by 10pm, we would have packed up our stuff and left. It was supposed to be a relaxing couples weekend away from our kids, but it was not and for the price, you would think it they would have dealt with the structural problems that make it so loud. We will sadly never stay there again.

Loved the quaint atmosphere and the property setting. Overall common rooms were elegant and comfortable. Room was very nicely furnished but did not provide enough electrical outlets (we had to use an outlet in the bathroom to hookup a C-Pap machine because the only outlet close enough was behind the bed frame and already had two lamps plugged into it). Also the lighting in the bathroom was too dim.

Beautiful setting, clean and the staff was amazing. I feel all places I go have clean facilities, but the staff and service set this inn above and beyond. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful, and always a smile and pleasant greeting. The car service was amazing (Jose, Dylan, Scott, Jeremy, and Zach) were so pleasant and helpful, we never had to wait or ask twice. Great vacation, we will definitely go back

The staff at the Inn at Perry Cabin could not be more warm and welcoming. The food, although expensive, is outstanding. We heard there was a new pastry chef at the Inn, and he outdid himself for the Christmas buffet. The property is lovely, yet casual. It was our first Christmas without our children, which is why we took this mini trip, and we felt like we were at home.
