My boyfriend and I went to St. Louis for a weekend trip and I booked this B&B based on price and its location to local attractions, but mostly for the uniqueness of the themed rooms. We stayed in the Lil Dynasty room and it was everything the pictures promised. The bed was huge and comfortable, and we had plenty of pillows. Our room was located at the top of the stairs on the second floor, which was also where breakfast was laid out. We stayed during what seemed like a quiet weekend (I only saw one other couple during our stay) so the location of the room wasn't an issue, but there's potential for people to congregate outside this room in the mornings. One downside was the bathroom is not attached to the room, so you have to walk down the hallway past the breakfast table and dining room to go to the bathroom. Again, this wasn't a big deal for us since it was so quiet, but if the B&B was full I imagine getting up in the morning with bedhead and bleary eyes could be slightly awkward. The owner was very charming and friendly and made us feel quiet welcome. As someone else mentioned, the surrounding area is a little sketchy, but the private parking lot behind the house feels quite secure. I love the personality, charm, and privacy of this B&B (no beige walls and generic hotel art here!), but next time I would probably book one of the other rooms in case it is busier.
