God frokostbufet, men treg omelettsteking. Raske heiser. Vi hadde juniorsuiite med havutsikt. Trang balkong med en stol. Greit bad men dårlig dusj. Slitt og manglende vedlikehold. Ingen lydisolering og mye støy fra gata dag, kveld og natt. Hjelpsome og flinke rengjøringspersonale. Noen i resepsjonen var lite hjelpsomme. Greit bassengområde på taket med nok solsenger til vanlig. Nå var det Malta Poker Festival en uke med mange støyende menn ved bassenget. Mange restauranter og uteplasser rundt hotellet. Dette er nok øyas festeplass! Det er mye byggearbeid og støy i området. Vi telte 15 heisekraner når vi sto på den ene siden av bassenget.

Ok hotel, med ok beliggenhet. Vi ble veldig syke mens vi var der, og det påvirket nok oppholdet. Om vi ble smittet på hotellet eller forgiftet av mat vet vi ikke. En del støy fra gravemaskiner rett utenfor vinduene som begynte tidlig om morgenen. Hotellet gikk daglig tomt for vamt vann i dusjen. Ellers betjening som prøvde å yte service, men slet litt med språket. Innendørs basseng var bra. Badstuene var ikke på den uka vi var der.

In order for potential gusts to make informed choices, we would like to mention that no other guests reported that they got sick in our hotel, which leaves us to believe that you must have picked up your illness from somewhere outside of the hotel. We are very sorry that this had to happen while you were on holiday in Malta. With regards to the Sauna and Hammam, these are switched on request and at an extra payment done at reception. Good hotel with a lot of opportunities nearby
In generell I liked the hotel. I was there 14 days in the end of march, I saw just some guest with kids and i would say the hotel is not very interesting for kids. But maybe they have more offers for kids during the main season. During my stay they renovated the hotel, because of this some facilities was not available. I didn't know about that and i think Expedia and the hotel should inform the guest about that before they arrive. I had the room with seaview in the 6th floor, I could not hear the renovation work. If i would hear them or I would have missed the hotel facilities which was not available i would have complained about it, but my room was nice and quiet so I accepted the renovation work in the hotel entrance. The room has a good size and nice view. Some furniture looks very used but ok. I liked the bed, it was rather hard then soft. Sun on the balcony just in the morning (you can watch the sunrise), shady after 1 pm. Internet on the room is just working when the TV is on, speed good for surfing not for youtube and so on. The doors to the hotel rooms close loud when the fall automatically into the lock. During 2 nights i heard the neighbours in the middel of the night banging the doors several times. One time I heard the neighbours talking in the middel of the night, i called the reception and after some minutes it was quiet. 4 stars for the hotel is adequate in my opinion.

Overall good
The hotel was nice, but the rooms were abit dated. The location was perfect if u want to be close to Paceville (just around the corner) but still not have it too loud and roudy outside your window. The service was good. The internet in the room was not the best as you couldnt see pictures online. Overall it was a good hotel but the rooms need some updating.

Tolles Hotel in bester Lage. Der Strand, Restaurants und Geschäfte sowie Bars ist alles fussläufig in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Dabei ist es am Hotel direkt einigermaßen ruhig. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles sehr sauber.

Great location. Just off the busy street of restaurants blasting music. 5mins walk from Bus stop. Great restaurant onsite if you don't feel like going out. Very helpful staff. Felt safe as a solo traveller.

Please note that we take these comments very seriously but in your case, it seems that we do nothing right in this hotel and additionally, whoever reads your review thinks we have nothing positive to offer. We do not know what type of expectations you had of our hotel as on all online booking platforms there is a comprehensive description and it is written in a way that gives no unpleasant surprises to guests. In addition, the reviews other guests leave on the various travel platforms and our responses to them should be a good indication of what our hotel and operation are like. For other guests to make informed choices, we would like to mention that the hotel is situated in a central and vibrant location, close to many restaurants, and entertainment places and very convenient to travel around the island by public transport. We are quite sure that people on a real holiday will find these characteristics positive. We would also like to mention the friendly and kind nature of our front office team who do their best and go out of their way to make the sojourn of our guests as pleasant as possible. Additionally, we offer a wellness facility, where our guests can enjoy a Sauna or Turkish bath together with the gym and heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi to aid in their relaxation while on holiday. The rooms are cleaned daily by our professional housekeeping staff and hence, kept clean for the benefit of our guests. There is also La Casa lounge bar, where our dedicated bar tenders prepare a variety of coffees, teas and alcoholic drinks, all in a hotel ambience of relaxation. Property was clean and good value for money. Breakfasts had a good array of choice. Unfortunately the inside pool was closed for refurbishment but overall a pleasant stay in a good location

Please note that we take these comments very seriously but in your case, it seems that we do nothing right in this hotel and additionally, whoever reads your review thinks we have nothing positive to offer. We do not know what type of expectations you had of our hotel as on all online booking platforms there is a comprehensive description and it is written in a way that gives no unpleasant surprises to guests. In addition, the reviews other guests leave on the various travel platforms and our responses to them should be a good indication of what our hotel and operation are like. For other guests to make informed choices, we would like to mention that the hotel is situated in a central and vibrant location, close to many restaurants, and entertainment places and very convenient to travel around the island by public transport. We are quite sure that people on a real holiday will find these characteristics positive and not complain about things that do not regard them such as the manager having his break. Contrary to your remark, we would also like to mention the friendly and kind nature of our front office team who do their best and go out of their way to make the sojourn of our guests as pleasant as possible. Additionally, we offer a wellness facility, where our guests can enjoy a Sauna or Turkish bath together with the gym and massages to aid in their relaxation while on holiday. The rooms are cleaned daily by our professional housekeeping staff and hence, kept clean for the benefit of our guests. Please note that if you left your 'Do not disturb' card attached to the room, then it will not be cleaned. There is also La Casa lounge bar, where our dedicated bar tenders prepare a variety of coffees, teas and alcoholic drinks, all in a hotel ambience of relaxation.Thank you for staying at the Golden Tulip Vivaldi and we sincerely hope you had a safe journey back home.Kind regards,DM

This hotel needs urget attention rooms we not cleaned the first 2 days when we asked about this we were met with a very aggressive reception. Pool had mould growing around the tiles badly. No chairs or tables on the large balcony again when we asked we were told this is the way they are although their website states they do heve them on their balconies. Manager spent most days out the front of their bar smoking. Food really needs a revamp not great at all. Sad as the front and foyer wete deceiving

Dear Elisa,Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your thoughts about your sojourn. With reference to your AC comments, as we speak, new chillers are being installed. Works can be seen carried out, by any guest on the first floor. Hotels are also prone to technical failures and big chillers of hotels are not like domestic ones. We cannot go in a shop and buy it instantly. They need to be ordered and it takes time to replace them. We hope that you and other potential guests understand this situation. The stay here was the second part of a 17 day holiday in Gozo and Malta. On arrival we were allocated our room 404, it is advertised a superior room (that is in size only)!. It overlooked the sea as requested. Within 2 hours it became quite obvious that building work was being carried out very very closely. We reported the noise to the reception desk on our way out to find something to eat. The receptionist told us no work was being carried out! Went to bed, at 6.30am a hammer drill and banging again, a phone call to an irate receptionist "educated me" it was nothing to do with the hotel but she would ask security to look into it. At the end of the 3rd day we went to the reception again and was told nothing had been reported. We eventually spoke to a manager who was both rude and curt and in denial that it was a problem of the Hotels making, however it became clear that the hotel are aware of the noise but legally they cant stop the work from taking place from 8am - Clearly not doing their job, they could involve the police to stop the noise before 8am they just don't. Any way after 3 days we were moved a little further away but the noise was still obvious and still commenced at 6.30. There was no air conditioning in the restaurant or common room areas, the indoor pool was closed for 5 days of our stay and the roof top "paddling pool" was closed for one day. The heat in the dining room at breakfast was unbearable. Rooms clean and house keeping good. The food was edible.
