"We had a great stay at the Westin Dragonara. Very friendly staff everywhere, spacious and clean rooms, actually a good gym even if a bit hot, great area by the sea for swimming and relaxing in the sun, several good options for food at the hotel, excellent breakfast buffet and a professional scuba diving company across the road (DiveWise). If we were to critique anything, we`d like more focus on keeping the water free from garbage. This is a global problem, however the hotel(s) need to help put focus on not littering, and the Westin needs to scoop up trash from the water on a daily basis. The water was inviting most days, but some days the experience was reduced by the presence of garbage and waste water residue. Another area to improve was the buoy line marking the swimming area: The line of buoys was not properly anchored and did not adequately separate swimmers from all the boat and water scooter traffic. We`d appreciate a properly marked and larger swimming area, to include the cape where the casino is located, in order to allow for proper exercise, but also better snorkeling, without risking being hit by a vessel."
