Guest Access:

BookVI will arrange for a Greeter to meet you at the villa for check-in, provide a tour, address any questions about the property, and offer insights about the island. Check in arrangements will be tailored to your party size, arrival time, and familiarity with the area.



The Neighborhood:

This location is a true gem, enjoy Chocolate Hole Beach from your back door. Close to town yet serene and peaceful, you can enjoy morning walks to collect beautiful shells, take an evening dip, or spend the day paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling.



Getting Around:

BOOKVI highly recommends renting a 4-wheel drive vehicle for navigating St. John's terrain. We can provide a list of trusted local rental companies and have a few villa vehicles available.. Please inquire with the BOOKVI Team about options!



Other Things to Note:

Guests will receive a contract for signature in order to finalize your booking. Once your flight is booked, please provide your flight information to help us plan your arrival. We can assist with arranging private transportation from the airport to the villa, private taxi service, boat charters, private chefs, and spa services. Guests can expect a few emails to help with your vacation planning. We look forward to welcoming you to St. John!



Interaction with Guests:

Serenity is managed by BookVI, an island concierge service that is readily available to help with guests needs, whether it be dinner reservations, boat charters, or rental gear for trips to the beach. There is also a property management service on-call for any maintenance needs.

A week in paradise

We had a fantastic family vacation at this stunning villa in Chocolate Hole! We thoroughly enjoyed the location within steps of the water and convenient to Cruz Bay. We appreciated the gourmet kitchen and the grill on the patio as well as all of the stocked spices that were available. The villa is modern, clean and comfortable. The property manager Dave was very nice and quickly responded to all of our questions. St John Island is a gorgeous, unique vacation destination and we highly recommend this property! Hopefully we will be back soon.

Fantastic home base for a week of hiking & relaxation!

We found Serenity to be the perfect location for our family of 5 with tween-teenagers. We took full advantage of having a full kitchen with the grocery store right on the way to the property. Having the beach chairs, snorkel gear, a pool noodles were really appreciated for our afternoons on the beach following a morning hike. We are definitely interested in making another trip to St. John and would stay at Serenity again!

Pond Bay

Serenity was a fantastic location. Clean, and had everything we needed. Dave, the property manager was amazing. He helps with everything you may need. Definitely made us feel at home. The location was perfect for us. Just far enough away to be quiet but close enough to be able to get to Cruz bay for whatever we needed without trouble. Very close to grocery which we used frequently. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Outstanding!

The Chocolate Hole location was close to but away from the activity of Cruz Bay. The condo was well appointed, comfortable and provided plenty of 'private space' along with group gathering space.Dave was so very informative and the few times we reached out he was very responsive. Would highly recommend!

Chocolate Hole Paradise

We had a wonderful stay. The house is as promised with fully equipped kitchen and lots of outdoor gear. We loved the Chocolate Hole area. It’s close to Cruz Bay but just enough outside of town to be quiet. Access to the bay just steps away from the house for snorkeling, kayaking and SUP is a real plus. Just a note, there are no sidewalks in St John so even though we were close enough to walk to town and markets, it’s not possible, safe or practical on the narrow streets. You must have a vehicle.

Dave, the property manager was great! Was very prompt with questions. The villa area seemed to be in transition to be much nicer. Our villa was exactly what pictures depicted . The only negative were the sheets on the beds. They seemed to be stained. Overall, I would recommend this villa.

Condo in paradise

Beautiful property located in Chocolate hole. Easy to find and access. Excellent appliances. The electric blinds and WiFi were spotty and there was bird droppings on the upper deck that the property manager cleaned up upon request. The view of Chocolate hole is slightly obstructed by the building across from the property. Overall, an excellent property and we will definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous New Villa

Beautiful well-appointed new villa on the beach in Chocolate Hole. They are still building the villas, so it is a bit of a construction zone and can be a little hard to find. (You turn onto a gravel road that looks like it goes nowhere but actually circles around to the villas. This one is the back on the left, second one in. We had a bit of trouble finding it - finally found it by comparing deck furniture to the photos in the listing!) Gorgeous inside - new appliances & furniture, beautifully decorated. Perfect for our family of three (two parents and just graduated college kid). Location is terrific - very close to Cruz Bay and the Westin, and lots of activities.

Beautiful Villa

Fantastic location in Chocolate Hole. The Villa itself is clean, bright, high-tech and furnished with high-end appliances and thoughtful detail, such as a Keurig cubby upstairs and robes in the closets. The villa is just Steps from a beach to snorkel. Our master bedroom was huge with high ceilings. The master bedroom balcony was spacious and provided a view of the bay. We played many card games at night and sipped coffee in the morning. Snorkel equipment and beach chairs are provided to use. Construction on other villas is ongoing, but was not noisy. Very quiet at night. The entrance road is deceiving, but after the modest gravel road, the beautifully landscaped villas emerge.

Great getaway

What else is there to say?! Previous reviews hit all the key points. Property Manager was very responsive and accommodating. The complex is a bit hard to find at first as there are no street signs turning off Chocolate Hole Road. There is a small sign for St John Villa Resorts and it's a gravel road that looks like it leads to and ends at a construction site. 120% would stay again!

Highly recommend!

I will admit, I was hesitant to book at first since it was a brand new place with no reviews yet at the time... but the pictures looked nice and we knew the location would suit us well, so figured we'd give it a try. That decision turned out to be one of the best ones we've ever made! Serenity exceeded every expectation. It was beautifully decorated, very spacious, extremely comfortable and clean. It was great for 3 couples to all have their own nice-sized bedrooms with a king bed and private bathroom. Although we didn't have time during our stay to do any cooking in, the kitchen was well-stocked with spices and everything you'd need to make meals of your own. The large under the counter ice-maker is a fantastic addition, and saved us from having to purchase bags of ice for drinks and coolers. The snorkel gear and beach items available for use were nice quality and greatly appreciated - a very nice addition that saved us from having to rent some. David was a fantastic host, very responsive and easy to deal with. We had the opportunity to meet in person while there, and it was a great pleasure! He really cares to make sure everything is satisfactory for his guests, and provided clear instructions and wonderful concierge service upon arrival (thanks, Ausra!). We have stayed on the island several times in various villas, and overall, this was one of our favorites - we will likely return!

Wonderful Vacation Rental!

The property was absolutely gorgeous! Everything we needed for our beach vacation was made available to us! We have used VRBO for several vacations and this rental property was by far the best! Paradise!

This home exceeded our expectations! The location was minutes from restaurants and beaches! The home itself was very roomy and comfortable! The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need from a state of the art ice maker, blender, utensils, beautiful dishes and every gadget you could imagine! I highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Saint John! I cannot wait to return next year with my family and stay at Serenity!

Lovely place with great snorkeling

The Serenity Villa was a wonderful place to stay. More spacious than it appears in the photos, this clean and tasteful villa worked so well for our group of five adults. The snorkeling in Chocolate Hole was just incredible! The kitchen was well stocked -- thank you for spices! -- and we enjoyed cooking for ourselves during a busy holiday week. In addition to sea life, we enjoyed a visit from three donkeys and several deer sightings. A lovely place for a stay!

This property is beautiful and very comfortable. Everything that you might need is available for cooking and comfort. We loved being close to the beach and the easiness of accessing the property. We were able to get to all of beaches across the island easily from here. We loved our stay and had a great holiday trip!
