Got to hotel America Inn checked in the room was paid for on Expedia. The desk clerk was very nice.
Needed my credit card to hold a 150 dollars that would be refunded once my stay was over.
My stay was 3 days we turned in keys left a day early. Might have stayed all three days if things were cleaned.
As I headed to my room.
I noticed pee on the floor which I had to walk around it.
Got in elevator there was graffiti on walls of elevator stains on floor in elevator. I was not going to let any of my bags touch the floors.
Hall floor all the way to my room dirty.
When entering my room the room smelled of smoke.
I had to go out and buy air freshener for room. My shower was dirty.
Corner of bathroom dirty. Rugs in living area dirty.
I felt uncomfortable even getting in bed to get sleep.
I did because , I was extremely tired being in town. My daughter was in hospital with being induced early due to complications.
So on top of stress there was added stress. I feel should not be a case when spending money to stay over a few day period.
At one point leaving the hotel.
I was extremely disturbed there was either a dog turd or a piece of sausage sitting on the steel edge in the elevator.
I looked away from it as I was on 2nd it was so incredibly disgusting. Furniture was stained.
I feel you should never have to experience a stay as this. I feel we should be refunded our money back.
