"Paradox Sydney is a nice hotel in a very convenient location in the Sydney CBD, with under ten minutes walk to Circular Quay and the Opera house.
The rooms are fairly spacious and the bed is comfortable. It's nice that the bathrooms have both a shower and a tub, however I didnt use the tub. The bar/restaurant downstairs have good food and drinks. The people are friendly and serviceminded, but it can be a bit slow at times. I had to wait ten minutes for a beer.
The spa has a pool, jacuzzi and steamroom which were all quite nice.
Beware there is construction going on just on the other side of the road from the hotel. They're building a new metro station, and I assume that's gonna take a few years to complete. I stayed on the other side of the building, but you could still hear the noise. I assume it will be much louder on the side facing directly towards the construction site.
Would I stay again? Yes, if I were guaranteed a room on the quieter side of the building."
