Overall we had a good experience.
The hotel is very nice, extremely clean, and conveniently located. Everything is easily accessible by car, and they also offer a shuttle to historic St. Augustine. We didn’t use the shuttle, but it’s a great option if you want to avoid driving and parking downtown.
Breakfast was good and well organized. It was the same both days, which is fine, though some variety would have been nice. Options included eggs, breads, and cereal. There were no breakfast meats or waffle maker, which was a bit disappointing. However, the breakfast area was spacious, clean, and had plenty of seating.
We requested a first-floor room the day before arrival, and the staff was very accommodating, which we appreciated. Our room was spotless, looked almost brand new, and was very comfortable with plenty of space. We had a king-size bed; the mattress was very firm—too firm for our preference, as we woke up sore—but it would be great for anyone who likes a firm mattress.
Our only real complaint was the pillows. While they looked nice, they flattened immediately and made sleeping extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this made for a rough night. Next time, we’ll bring our own.
Overall, this was a good place to stay: super clean, well located, and an excellent value. Despite the pillow issue, we would recommend it and would stay here again.
