Great Vacation Location
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in this great home. Our family of 5 adults and 2 kids had plenty of room. David is a very responsive host. We had a couple of questions and he responded immediately. We will definitely plan a return trip in the future. Home is very close to the beach and many restaurants. A short trip to downtown Old St. Augustine.

Ladies beach trip
Great house with plenty of space and rooms for our group of 8. Walk to the beach was so close and convenient. Pool and hot tub were an added bonus. Also convenience to Publix and restaurants was very nice. Host was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

A great mini vacation! The house was very nice and spacious. Anytime I had questions, the hosts responded immediately. They were available for anything I needed. The house is literally a couple blocks to the beach. Or get in the pool in the back yard. Friendly neighbors as well. Will definitely use this house again!

Great Christmas/New Year Family Vacation
We all had a GREAT VACATION at the "Elena" 5 bd VRBO house. St Augustine is not hot this time of year, but it's very busy. We made a great investment paying to heat the pool for our stay. The beach is a very short walk away. This house was comfortable for all of us. With the grandkids we were washing clothes almost every day in the large washer & dryer on the second level. There is a smart TV in the living room. We were able sign-in to our streaming services as well to video games. There are plenty of attractions, restaurants and food stores nearby. We were happy we made many reservations before we got here. David is a Great host ! Chuck & Sharon, December 2023

The house was very big with a nice floor plan so we had a lot of space for our group. Everyone had their own room and there were plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen allowed us to prepare breakfast and lunch so we saved some money on eating out for every meal. The keypad lock on the door made it easy to come and go without worrying about getting locked out. A book with suggestions for local attractions and restaurants was super helpful and we loved the 5 minute walk to the beach! Even my 83 year old mother made the walk easily. We had a nice family reunion.

Beautiful!
We had a wonderful stay. This home was well equipped and in the perfect location for a quick walk to beautiful Butler Beach. David was very communicative and super friendly. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood (sitting at the gorgeous and immaculate pool, you can hear the traffic but inside was relatively quiet) Our family really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. Plenty of room to relax. Thanks again!

Good home for large family
House was comfortable for a large family and was convenient to the beach. Pool and spa were very nice. Only a few small observations. The hot water for the master bathtub did not seem to work, the kitchen dishes, pots and pans were limited and aged and there was no shampoo/conditioner or bath soap (not even travel size) available. Overall, I would book again.

We are glad to hear how much this guest enjoyed our home and pool. There is hot water to the entire home, we are not sure why this guest thought there was no hot water to the bathtub. We have tested it since this review and it is in working order. We have a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, pots, and pans. We provide one bottle of a shampoo/conditioner combo per bathroom at the house. It is located in the cabinet under the sink of each bathroom.

40 Year Family Reunion
Five Stars - Home is beautiful, welcoming, relaxing, and clean. It was perfect for a group of seven friends that hadn't seen each other for 40 years to be together and reminisce. Five big bedrooms. Large kitchen provided plenty of space and everything needed to prepare big meals. Short 5 min walk (2 blocks) to the beach was perfect, followed by a nice dip in the pool. Plenty of outdoor seating. Out of town feel, yet close enough for convenience. Check in and out was seamless, property managers easy to communicate with if needed. We had no issues at this house. Definitely would book again, and Definitely recommend this home.

Fall Break Beach vacation
The house was great. The walk to the beach was not long or difficult. The pool was nice but not used as much as we would have liked because of weather. We had 8 adults and three children so a full bath downstairs would have helped. Overall a great stay that I would recommend!

Excellent stay!
Spacious home with AMAZING pool and walking distance to beach (private neighborhood boardwalk with minimal people using beach). Very clean and stocked with supplies. Communication with host is excellent! Short drive to a lot of restaurants, shops, and activities. Quiet neighborhood and only minutes from historic St. Augustine. Wonderful stay for my family of four but so much space for several families to stay. Recommend Oasis restaurant and Paladar Eatery nearby. A ton of nearby ice cream shops.

Great Location - family had an awesome time
Proximity to beach was great - loved driving my truck on to bring all our stuff :) Kids loved the pool and the space. House was as described. Host was prompt to respond and reasonable. No shower downstairs with two bedrooms was the only thing we had to work around, but really not a big deal when all was said and done and something you can tell by looking through the photos in the listing. Would stay there again or recommend to a friend.

Great house, close to beach
This house was perfect for our stay. The children loved the pool. The house was only 2 blocks from the beach and if the weather had been a little better would have been enjoyed a lot more. House was spotless. Only 2 downsides, my elderly parents can’t do stairs, so we made sure to find out if their were downstairs bedrooms. But I forgot to ask about bathrooms. The only bathroom downstairs was a half bath. Issue 2, we were a group of 10, and I was surprised to read on the website that the house was only fitted with 10 wash rags for baths. If the house can sleep 10, it should have minimum supplies for 10. Luckily I only live 2 hrs away and it was easy to bring wash clothes of my own. Also found other supplies like trash bags and dishwasher soap a bit sparse. If I was flying to visit St Augustine and staying more than a few days, I would be put off by having to use my luggage space or money to supply these items especially considering the cost of these rentals.

Amazing beach vacation
We had an amazing family beach vacation. The house is beautiful and is within walking distance to the beach. It has ample space for the whole family. We were able to enjoy family time in the pool when not at the beach. The owners are very pleasant and communication before and during stay is excellent. We truly enjoyed the house and location. 2023 Summer Get Away
The stay was wonderful, the house was relaxing, we loved the pool. The location to the beach was great. Wish there was some provided beach chairs or beach things. Also tish the Hot tub temperatures could be warmer and the jets to turn on stronger. But honestly it was wonderful.

We are so glad that you enjoyed the house and pool! We have provided beach chairs in the past, and they rust very quickly due to not being rinsed after being taken to the beach. Instead, we give the link to a local place that rents them and we leave any beach gear that the house that guests leave behind when they check out. The hot tub is set to 101 degrees, anything over that can be dangerous to people with certain conditions. The information about the beach gear and hot tub is provided to guests before and after booking.

The beach was a little far of a walk, we did it 1 time and that did us in..lol The only complaint we have is that the beds in all of the bedrooms were very uncomfortable and hard!! They really need to be updated. But other than that this house is gorgeous 😍

The house worked out perfectly for a busy week of sight seeing, kayaking, playing on the beach, and most importantly the wedding activities. St Augustine is a friendly town for dinning and shopping while taking in its history.

Wedding stay
We rented the property for 6nights/7days for our sons wedding. We had 9 guests stay for varying nights throughout the week. The home was very spacious and had many amenities that we enjoyed. The outside area and pool space were wonderful. The first floor of the home was nice, comfortable and seemed to have been updated. The washer/dryer appeared to be brand new and nice to use. There were a couple of specific things that were disappointing: It was inconvenient to have two king bedrooms, accommodating 4 adults but no full bath on the first floor. There was only a 1/2 bath. One full bath upstairs for 11 guests is a lot. Both bathrooms on the second floor are in need of deep cleaning. There was mold around the jacuzzi’s jets in the master bath and also in both showers. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable with plenty of space except for the shower situation.

Comfortable rental that feels homey
We enjoyed our stay in St Augustine and liked the location and overall disposition of the house. I thought it was better in person than the pictures. Some improvements: Bathrooms could be in better shape,master bath had some grime on tiles and there was a water stain from previous leak around the toilet. I am particular about bathrooms as mine at home is spotless so if you’ve got that same hang up this is something that can be improved. The second bathroom shower had same grime issue. The downstairs half bathroom was in great condition seemingly new. Pluses: Only two blocks tot he beach, was a beautiful beach where the dog can run around Fenced in yard ☺️ Tons of space for everyone to spread out! Well equipped kitchen better than most rentals I’ve stayed in, in fact we made our whole thanksgiving meal and wanted for nothing. Some tips: If you’re renting during a cold month as we did ,don’t request for the pool to be heated , just doesn’t get warm enough when it’s too cold outside and should have gone with the property managers recommendation to only have the hot tub heated as it only allows you to have one or the other not both items heated. Overall: liked our stay as it was spacious, clean throughout and kitchen was a good layout and had everything our family needed. Good location about 15-30 mins to downtown, so close to the beach and if you’re in for warmer months I’m sure you’d love the pool.

Large beach house . Cute and cozy
Nice property wish we could’ve stayed longer . Unfortunately during our stay a lot of light bulbs were out in the house and outside . Also rules and rules and more rules were posted all over the house . The fridge had to sets , the back of the front door, the bathrooms and even the washer and dryer . Seemed excessive but I’m sure an unruly guest caused this . In the morning we got a reminder to be out at 10 am on the dot . Yes we got it we read the Rules ! Not did you enjoy your stay …….

We are glad that you enjoyed the property! We have sent our handyman to the house to replace any light bulbs that are out. Most of the signs around the house are not necessarily rules, but helpful information to make your stay more enjoyable. The sign on the washer reminds you to shake beach sand out of towels to protect the plumbing. The signs on the back of the door show the evacuation route from the house and basic information (such as the address and our phone number) which is helpful for quick reference. The ones on the fridge give information about the pool, when trash day is, etc. We do send a message to our guests on check-out day to remind them of the check out time and ask how their stay was. We have never had a guest complain about this. We hope that it gives guests one last opportunity before they depart to let us know how their stay was and anything we need to address at the property after they check out. Very good stay overall, good layout of property and good location, clean and nice too. Drawback is that the kitchen was not stocked well enough to be able to cook for enough people staying in this size property, and some extra amenities would help make this a great place.

Our kitchen has more than one set of pots and pans, baking dishes, crockpot, 2 types of coffeemakers, blender, hand mixer, cooking utensils, and more. We also provide silverware. plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and wine glasses. We wish you would of let us know what you were missing at the house so we could have maybe provided that to you if we had it in stock. We do our best to cater to guests and make sure needs are met!

The property was good over all. We did have a large family with small children, so it was very loud. It does have a lofted area with no rugs to deaden the sounds. It was difficult only having 2 full bathrooms. More linens for this size of house would have been good. The pool was great to have for the kids.

This place was excellent! In a great location , minutes from the beach and a short drive to all the fun in St Augustine. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and dishes for a large family to cook their favorites. The pool was perfect, we had 4 kids ranging in age from 5-14 and they spent as much of their time as they could in the pool. Plenty of pool toys on-site which made it super easy. Highly recommend!!

Butler Beach Family Vacation
Our family had a great time in this house. There was plenty of room for our family (4 generations)in the living area and the kitchen/eating areas. The bedroom situation was perfect for us, with a queen bed and twin beds in two of the rooms to accommodate the grandkids. The pool and outside area was also very nice. We spent a lot of time out there. The beach was beautiful, perfect for kids. The walk to the beach was a little longer than I would have liked. David communicated with us very well through text. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Vacation
My family and I don't get together very often and we love St. Augustine so we thought this was the perfect place to have a little reunion. The house did not disappoint! Walking distance to the beach (which was gorgeous!), clean refreshing pool, short drive to the beautiful oldest city, and lots to do in the local area. Would definitely recommend and will be back!!

Great family beach vacation rental
This was a perfect house for our family’s vacation! It was spacious and very clean. There was plenty of room for us all to kick back and relax. The kitchen was just remolded and looked awesome! The tv was set up with Roku which made it great to have access to Netflix and Prime. It was an easy five minute walk to the beach. The pool was a lovely backyard retreat. Extremely well maintained and although the house backed up to a main road the noise from traffic was barely noticeable. The overall location to downtown and shops was perfect! There is a grocery store five minutes away and it is pretty much a straight shot to downtown. The renters made check in and check out super easy.. This is a house we would definitely rent again on our next vacation!
