«The staff was great. We arrived late at night at the airport and our hotel pickup was great. Just called the hotel and they came and got us. The hotel is dated but clean and neat. Lobby staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was initially a disappointment because we were expecting more but the coffee was good and there were lots of energy bars, yogurt, and instant oatmeal packs so… no excuse to be hungry. «The room was small but had nice furniture and clean and confortable bed. It was quiet but it did not have a bathroom. The bathroom available was doen the hall. It was clean and i had a good shower. The staff were nice and helpfull. The breakfast was included and very tasty, it was a good surprise. My room was pet friendly. The wifi in the room was good. Parking was avsilable across from the hotel.»

«Lets face it, this is in Alaska. The word "posh" probably doesn't exist there. What this hotel do have in spades, is friendliness. I have stayed here more than once and they have literally been driving me anywhere I have needed to go. All of the staff have been super friendly and making it feel real, because they are. «The hotel may have rebranded to the Southeast Resort, but it is an old hotel. The refrigerator shell was broken. The room just looked tired. The elevator was extremely slow. The bathtub wasn't really clean and there was someone else's long hair clinging to the shower curtain, yuck. On the positive side the bed was quite comfortable, and the hotel location is right by downtown and close to tourist areas.»
